Great upgrade to church sound system
I don't know where to start when it comes to describing how happy I am with our Behringer X32 we recently purchased from Adorama. Our church upgraded from an analog Behringer because we were running short on channels needed and some of the channels were starting to go bad. X32 still good it 2023
X32 might be an old platform but it was built and done right from the start. The firmware updates have provided additional features and functionally to ensure it is able to keep up with the competition. The service from Adorama was great and shipping was quick. Will return here for my purchases for sure.
When it comes to professional audio mixing and recording, the Behringer X32 32-Channel 16-Bus Total Recall Digital Mixing Console V4.0 stands out with its advanced features and sophisticated design. The X32's 16 mix busses are configurable as subgroups, each featuring inserts, 6-band parametric EQs, and integrated dynamics processing for superior customization. Additionally, six independent matrix mix busses mirror these features, providing a comprehensive audio mixing experience.
The latest X32 Firmware Version 4.0 enhances the console's functionality, allowing for individual routing of inputs or outputs and remote configuration for personal monitoring systems. The user interface has been completely revamped, boasting over a thousand enhancements for an improved user experience.
This console comes with 16 analog XLR outputs, six line-level I/O connectors, and two 1/4" phone connectors. The talkback section facilitates communication with the integrated mic or an external mic. For expanded connectivity, the mixer features a pair of AES50 ports with KLARK TEKNIK SuperMAC networking capability, ready for use with 48-channel digital snakes for ultra-low jitter and latency.
The X32 also includes an integrated expansion port for a FireWire/USB/ADAT card, offering additional networking interfaces and a 16-channel recorder. The built-in Virtual FX provides eight true-stereo FX slots, delivering high-end simulations of popular outboard gear.
The console's high-power 32-bit floating-point DSP system ensures "unlimited" dynamic range, no internal overload, and near-zero latency between inputs and outputs for top-quality performance. The mixer also features six mute groups and eight DCA groups on eight dedicated faders for easy access.
The X32's user-friendly interface includes a high-resolution 7" color TFT display with associated controls and individual RGB backlit graphic LCDs on every channel. The unit boasts 25 motorized 100 mm faders for extensive user-definable control.
The system includes a USB flash connector for file storage, uncompressed recordings, show presets, and system updates. It also supports the P-16 personal monitoring system, AES/EBU stereo digital outputs, and MIDI. Adjustable line delays are available on all physical inputs and outputs.
The X32 also offers networked remote control or show setups with the included remote editor software via USB and Ethernet ports. The Behringer Live Sessions - New Companion App for X32, a powerful tool for managing X32 audio sessions, is available for free download for PC, Mac, and Linux.
