ROGER L : I have two questions: 1. Do you also offer this in black color (no chrome). 2. Is this sturdy enough to hold a compact flash unit (such as a Elinchrom BRX 500). I need a low stand for the back lighting, using it with my Lastolite LiteTable. Or would you recommend any other lightstand for this usage? Thanks.ROBERT G : This is a very sturdy light stand. I use my novatron heads on it with no problem. I would definately buy it again!LAUREN C : To answer your questions - Yes, mine are in black and the Adorama picture is wrong by saying it comes in chrome. SKU: BG3350 MFR: 156BLB is the black. SKU 156BLB is for the black ones especially since "BLB" is code for black in Manfrotto. As for supporting the BRX500, sure as long as you are on level ground as the legs for these stands are not wide enough to compensate for sloping terrain. Using it on a table? Sure they will be fine.STEPHEN M : They'll carry a fair amount of weight, but the base is small. Apply a sandbag to keep it upright. I use mine for a Nikon SB800. I also use it for a Matthews 4x4' flag.STEPHEN M : It's not chrome. It's black. The part number is MFR: 156BLB Black. I have 4 of them.

This mini stand is good for holding reflectors

This mini stand is good for holding reflectors. However the foot print is to small {unstable} for small lights (ie. Flashpoint LED Circular Lights). This is the reason I can only give it 4 Stars. Good product.

Not chrome, actually black

These little guys are good for flags and for mounting back lights. They're advertised as chrome, but they're actually black (which is what I wanted anyhow!)

Perfect! I'm getting another one today!

This is a great stand for my off camera flashes. I can use them outdoors, in my small office and they pack really nice in my backpack full of camera gear. If you need lighting supports for off camera flashes these stands are perfect. Do not let the size deter you, with a little imagination these can be used for more than just backlighting your subjects.
