When it comes to delivering dynamic, powerful sound, the HT Venue Stage 100H MK III 100W Tube Amplifier Head stands out as a top-tier choice for musicians. This flagship guitar amp head utilizes four carefully selected EL34 power valves, generating a robust 100W of quintessentially British dynamics. With three channels offering six voices, this amplifier provides an unparalleled range of tonal versatility.
The HT Stage 100H MK III features a 'boutique' style clean channel with two modes - 'British Class A' and 'dynamic US'. Each of the two ISF equipped overdrive channels accesses a further two modes, making this amplifier a versatile tool for both studio and stage performances. Its ability to deliver ground-breaking cleans and rich, full overdrives, while offering maximum control and flexibility, sets it apart in the market.
This model is part of the multi-award-winning HT Venue Series MK III, known for its class-leading boutique cleans and modern high gain overdrives. The clean channel, though simple in appearance, offers vast versatility in producing classic clean and crunch tones. Both voices utilize an ECC83 / 12AX7 valve exclusively for producing any valve compression or crunch.
The Overdrive channels have evolved from the original Series One range, sharing the same basic building blocks in the gain structure and tonal shaping. This includes the cascaded gain stages of an ECC83 / 12AX7 double triode valve. Each channel features two distinct voices, each introducing comprehensive circuit alterations in both preamp and power amp to recreate authentic reference tones without compromise.
The HT Venue Stage 100H MK III also incorporates CabRig, a class-leading IR based DSP speaker simulator technology. This feature offers hundreds of different cabinet, mic, and room settings, allowing you to save your favorites to three presets for easy access directly from the amplifier. The USB-C port ensures easy connectivity to your DAW, making it simpler than ever to capture authentic valve tone in recordings.
This amplifier is a testament to Blackstar's commitment to combining the best clean and overdrives into a single valve amp. The HT Venue Stage 100H MK III brings modern recording and connectivity to a traditional valve amp, including a suite of connectivity options: USB-C, XLR D.I., and 1/4" jack.
The HT Venue Stage 100H MK III also features Blackstar's patented ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) control, which shifts the response of the three control tone stack between a US type response and a UK type response. This feature allows for an infinite number of alternative tone choices. The MK III also has an all-new reverb voiced for guitar tones, offering 'Dark' room and 'Light' plate settings.
The HT in the name stands for 'High Tension', referring to the high voltages used in valve circuits like the HT Venue MK III. All modes are footswitchable, offering a broad range of on-stage valve tones, with boosts on every channel. The included 2-way footswitch toggles between Clean and Overdrive channels and their two voices. For comprehensive control, the optional FS-14 5-way foot controller gives you access to all Channels, Voices, a global volume boost, and Reverb on/off.
With more musicians recording at home, the HT Venue Stage 100H MK III is perfect for the modern musician, offering USB audio connectivity for professional recording and an XLR D.I. for professional live use. The amplifier also features a power reduction down to 10%, achieved by controlling the internal working voltages of the power stage, both HT (high voltage) and bias. This feature allows for power amp overdrive to occur at much lower volume levels, giving the feel of a small valve amp on the verge of meltdown, without compromising the tone.
