I've been using the Bose QuietComfort Ultra for about a month now, and I'm really impressed. The sound quality is rich and clear, and the noise cancellation is excellent - perfect for travel and daily use. Super comfortable to wear for long hours and totally worth the price!

Great features and sound!
I always loved the Bose sound from their speaker products. Therefore, trying the headphones was easy. The ultra headphones with immersion takes the hearing experience to a new level. Especially, the pause upon removing from my head. Furthermore, to connect with a second device makes it easy to use the headphones at work as well. I have hearing loss in one ear but the Bose experience neutralizes that deficit.

Superior Tech
I've had my new Bose headphones for 3 weeks and I love them! I replaced my old pair, which have nothing wrong with them other than wear and tear from years of use. These new ones are supremely comfortable, clear, and designed to maximize efficiency.

I find that all the functions work as designed
As of now I am very happy with my Bose headphones. I have been using them for about a month now find them quite satisfactory.

If you're second guessing, JUST BUY THEM!
Honestly so worth it! I work in a loud office, and these have helped soooooo much with having a quiet work environment. The sound quality is incredible, and the noise canceling is amazing. Glad I got these on sale! I got deep plum and they're beautiful!

Fabulous BUT
Bought these a couple of weeks back and by far have been the best headphones I've ever had (only ever really been able to get budget headphones). The sound quality is wonderful, the app lets you adjust levels easily to provide a custom listening experience, there's no distortion. HOWEVER. the slightest movement like running, or especially commuting I'm unable to listen to my music without distortion throughout the entirety of the trip. The slightest bump or movement on the bus, the headphones fuzz or distort no matter what setting you have it on, be it aware, immersive or otherwise. They're excellent for relaxed listening. Don't thinking a long haul bus trip will be smooth sailing.

Awesome Comfort
I brought these about a month ago and I don't know what I ever did before them. They are amazingly comfortable and the sound quality is top notch.

sound quality that I didn't know it was possible
Noise cancelling is so great I could immediately transport to a quieter space when in a busy airport / plane.
Sound quality is great that I am looking forward to putting them on in my commute. Highly recommend it

Fantastic sound
Has its signature sound and quality is premium. Probably best looking headphones in the market with excellent build quality. It has got the sub-bass which new dimension to listening experience.

Excellent sound quality
I bought these specifically for travel to silence the airplane noise and listen to music. They are amazing. I also use them for listening to binaural beats and meditations. I'm very happy with my purchase and highly recommend them.

Gorgeous look, immersive sound, squished my head
These headphones have great sound quality. I have some regular Quiet Comforts and the sound on the Ultras really is superior. You feel like you are IN the sound with the Ultras as opposed to just hearing sounds. The Ultras make you live the sound.
They are also gorgeous with great quality materials and the case is designed well with the cut outs for the headphones to nestle into. I like the colour coordinated cords and case as well. Some people were not a fan of the touch controls and I was afraid I wasn't going to like them but they were really not that bad (though I do prefer tactile buttons).
Some features seem gimmicky and are fun on paper but less practical in real use (for me), such as the responsive audio that tracks your head movements, which I turned off.
The main thing I just couldn't live with is the clamping pressure of the Ultras. They are much stronger and put more pressure on my head and I couldn't wear them nearly as long, especially as someone who wears glasses. They just hurt too much to wear for longer periods of time. Also, I don't like the way the size adjusts on the Ultras as much as the QCs, and you need to adjust the size every time in order to put them in the case. They have more resistance and you have to glide them slowly to size them properly which isn't preferred when you have to do it every time.
But these are gorgeous headphones with great build quality and truly immersive sound!

Excellent Sound Dampening
I bought them about a month ago and have been using them constantly. I use them when I'm taking the bus to and from work and the background noise is very effectively muffled by the headphones which is such a relief after a long day of work.

Copmarison to 700 NC
So far it works will with my Samsung Android. It is dropping connections to my Fedora Linux Lenovo laptop infrequently though.
I liked the 700 NC version better because the controls were easier to use while jogging but the QuietComfort Ultra's auto stop when you take it off and autostart when you put it on works much better.
I'm hoping this will be as sturdy as the 700 NC. Ultra has hinges and past headphones from other companies the hinges always break.

Does not turn to BT mode
Find it very difficult to sync them to my phone and computer-(getting them in Bluetooth mode). The light never turns blue. Disappointed especially considering the cost.

Silly unacceptable issues
I purchased a pair on Amazon Prime day and thought they were an upgrade to the NC700s which I have largely enjoyed. They are comfortable and the sound is great. However, the self talk doesn't work and they don't function properly when connected to two devices. Bose informed me this is a firmware issue and will be resolved on release of the next update, at an unknown time. As I use them for work, all day everyday, these two issues are quite significant for me. If you have NC700s I would recommend you keep them.

Great headphone let down by Bluetooth issues
Very comfortable, amazing sound, decent ANC, however bluetooth connection is so bad. If disconnected, you will need to either delete dive and add agin or restart device.

Awesome noise cancelling
Sure looked great, sounded ok. For me it was my first over ear headphones in years. Noise cancelling was great. For work and as many meetings I have on teams they get heavy and hot for me.
