Good sound

Great sound, and the noise cancelling works much better than I expected for ear buds. The silicone fitting pieces in different sizes work fairly well, but make it challenging to quickly put the ear buds in and out of my ears. The medium size fit me best, but I am using the smalls because I need to take them in and out too often to deal with the mediums. I was hoping that the ear buds would be small enough to sleep with comfortably, but they are really too big for that. My husband has the Bose noise masking sleep buds (sadly no longer available, which he loves, and those ear buds are much smaller.

Not worth it

I bought this only 2 months ago and I am already facing problems. The left bud has been giving away continuous static noises when turned on, making the headphones unable to use.

Buyer Beware!

Ive lost 2 pair of these headsets within 4 months. They easily slip off your neck and you may not notice if theyre not plugged into your ears. They are slippery. Sound quality is good but noise reduction does not match Bose over the ears models. Id give these a 3 out of 5 for Noise reduction. 4 out of 5 possibly for sound quality and a zero for ergonomics since i two of these slipped off my neck wo my knowing it. $Ouch!

Not good

I got these as a gift for Christmas a couple of years ago and they did not live up to the hype. The first few months were fine and then they got wet when I was wearing them in a light rain and they shocked my ear and left me temporarily deaf. A few months later they just completely stopped pairing to any and all of my devices. Bose sent me a new pair and those didn't even last a year before they just powered off and never turned on again. I tried to recharge them and do everything under the sun to get them to turn back on and nothing worked. Aside from all of that they looked terrible and were not very comfortable. Sound quality was okay at best, nothing special. Absolutely would not recommend and VERY disappointed in Bose.

Great performance but poor build quality

Great noise cancelling, but have never held charge for more than 48h. If fully charged on a Friday night they will never switch on come Monday morning. After about a year the rubber starting coming off to the point where it is very hard to switch them on and off as the button does not line up. Pretty disappointed all things considered

These really are good.

I have these and apple in ear pods. Bose beat the apple on several counts. Quality, comfort in ear and on the neck and easy to take out of the ear but leave on the neck. Apple are ok but when travelling it is so easy to loose one. Noise cancelling is great and so easy to use on a plane, train etc. Would go for the quality of the Q30 every time. I don’t use them for phone calls so cannot comment really, although the few times I have, not experienced any problems .

Great headphones

These headphones are great, and I don't understand all the bad reviews. They provide excellent sound (Bose quality), are extremely comfortable and offer great noise cancellation. Obviously the noise cancellation is not on par as over ear headphones but these headphones should not be compared to them. I found these more comfortable than the 700s (too much pressure on my head), so I returned. I also tried the QC35II, and while I thought the noise cancelling and sound quality was better, you really cant compare over ear vs. in ear. I also love that these bc they pack easily, I don't have to worry about getting them dirty, they are low maintenance and overall great headphones!

Great! Happy with them!

I love these headphones. In general, I really like over the neck headphones because you can just leave them on all day and put them in your ear when you want to listen to music or take a call. These are an upgrade from the ones I had before, which were great, but the little ear buds kept falling out. Because of the way these are designed, they stay in your ear. And obviously, the Bose quality is outstanding.

Awesome

The sound is fantastic for BT. BT isn’t going to give you the greatest sound but these are darn good. The QC feature works. In use these on my motorcycle and I love them. Only issue is the rubber part start to unseal after about 2 years. But I told Bose about it and they sent me a new pair. Bose backs their product up.

Seems confused.

Have trouble pairing or getting stuck on one one paired decice. Seems like it gets confused. Or maybe I'm confused. Tried all recommendations. Last I tried holding the on-off button on device for 10 seconds. Maybe helped.

Constantly Breaking

I am on my 13th pair since I purchased my 1st pair 6-7 years ago. When they work they are great but they never last. I have experienced cracked cases, rubber peeling off, not charging, and just plain failure to work. It takes a minimum of two weeks to replace because the return is the cheapest method possible and they don't send a new pair until the send a new pair. That takes another week. Now I am not only plagued with a damaged product but I have to wait 2 weeks for a replacement. 13 replacements x 2 weeks = 26 weeks or a half a year of lost service.

Best of The Best

I am the Pickiest when it comes to my headphones! So when I saw these did not have the reviews they deserve, I had to chime in. These are by far the best in-ear noise cancelation headphones, and I've tried them all+-. I tried out the QuietComfort 35 wireless II over-ears, and the QC 30 Wireless has much better sound quality. I use Logic X to create music as a hobby, so it's essential to have precise sound and noise cancelation when out in public. These also put the Air Pros to SHAME!!!!!!! when it comes to sound quality. I gave the durability a 4 star because I had my first pair go out on me BUT BOSE has the BEST customer service and I had my replacement immediately. They take care of their customers unlike almost all other companies out there.

Great for Noisy Environments

These wireless headphones are perfect for cutting grass or other outside activities that are loud. The noise cancelling works great and allow you to hear clean clear music from your iPhone or other device. I would recommend these to a friend. Worth the money.

Don't waste your valuable money

These headphones first stopped charging. Then I replaced them and got a new pair. That pair has a faulty mic. The voice was muffed, the other person on the call could barely hear me. Buyers don't buy these ones and waste your money. I would seriously rate this even below one star.

Pairing sucks

Great audio quality but poor pairing process and noise cancellation. with the noise cancellation ON, the audio from the people becomes like person talking to you from long distance. the pairing is another major issue. if you want to connect multiple devices and switch between them, the process is very tedious and you have to forget and re-pair again. re-pairing is also very complex as it will not turn ON Bluetooth search very first time. i have to turn ON and turn off headsets for literally 5-8 times before pairing becomes success on my mac.

Awful product design

My headphone silicone covering has come loose and doesn't allow for switching device on or off easily. This is a poorly designed product. The clunky neck band, wires, all unnecessary. Why couldn't Bose simply make earbuds as good as Sony or AirPods Pro with the noise cancelling they're known for? Very frustrated and do not recommend this product!

BEWARE the terrible build quality!

The quality control on this product is extremely poor. I am currently on my sixth pair of these (previous ones all replaced under warranty). Every single one has broken within 11 months. First 3 were due to the headband peeling apart due to improper gluing. This has since been corrected in this product. The next one had the volume control buttons fall apart despite being gentle at all times. The next one had loud static start in the left ear after 9 months (a well documented issue). This current set that I got a few days ago as a warranty replacement is clearly a refurbished item. When received, it was already paired to someone else's phone (which I had to delete) and the rubber at the bottom of the ear pieces is not tight around the wire, leaving the wire insulation to rub against that rubber piece, causing an annoying noise if I turn my head. To resolve this, I grabbed a small amount of black duct tape, wrapped it upon itself and shoved it up the gap between the wire and the rubber piece. That fixed that. But come on! Surely an item that costs this much can last more than 9 months! I haven't tested the microphone for a few years, but when I last tested it on a call, it was horrible and i had to immediately revert to Apple in-ear headphones (not AirPods). On the plus side, audio quality is excellent and noise cancelling is second to none, as with other Bose headphones. They are easy to use and the neck band tucks in nicely under a business shirt's collar. I would not recommend buying these unless you plan on barely using them (I use them 6+ hours every day), for their poor build quality will surely bite you! Comfort: It takes a while to get used to having the band sitting around your neck, but it is ok. It does tend to move around a bit and you have to straighten it every now and then. Not a big deal.

Superb noise canceling

I have had my QC30’s for over two years and they still work like new. I recently purchased a pare of Apple AirPod Pro’s because I thought the individual ear-buds would be better than the Bose design. The Apple’s were okay but the issue I had with them was that they had very poor noise canceling. I use the headphones to reduce the noise while I am doing yard work. Both my lawn mower and weed eater are very loud. The Bose cuts the noise from these machines way down. The AirPod Pro’s did almost no noise reduction. I returned the AirPods.

Great sound and design

The first time I bought it I lost it after 1 year. I liked it so much that I bought it for the second time. About 1.5 years later, the headphones stopped working. I called customer support they said they would replace it. It has been great experience so far. However, lets see if it is actually durable with the next one.

Great sound and noise cancelling

I bought this about 3.5 years ago. Love them for their sound quality and noise cancelling ability. They were durable for the time but in the last few months, they have begun to fall apart. No longer able to use due to the on button falling off. They're not great for running as the battery/band will slide to one side or the other. I always used them working out. once you get used to making sure they don't fall back when you lay down to bench or bend over, they're perfectly great for weight lifting. even though they're currently not usable, they were well worth the money in my opinion for the high quality and durability.

Glitch in Left earphone QC30

Hello, I purchased QC30 just one year back and found an issue in left earphone. After searching similar issue in google / Bose community, I understand most of QC30 users are facing same issue. And in one of the youtube video, it showed there is a defect in the neckband where wire is passed from right-side (main control) to left earphone. Also, as per postings in bose community, i think this seems to be known issue. Fortunately, i found this issue within 11 months after purchase but unfortunately due to COVID lockdown, all service center in Bangalore, India are closed. Since one month, i'm unable to enjoy this product. My question is to Bose team is, are your technical team aware of this issue? If yes, is any corrective actions are taken? Request for honest answer. Because, after paying huge amount, obviously no customer expect this type of quality. Now, i'm more worried that even if product is replaced, will that sustain for few years or not. Thanks & Regards Prabhakar

Good with some flows

I have these headphones now for almost 2 years. I like them for the convenience of having them around you neck. Sound quality (music and stuff) is OK. However, there are some thins you need to be aware of: 1. Taking a phone call using these headphones is really bad. The other party will not be able to hear you properly and you will end up switching them off to be able to take a phone call properly. They were not meant for phone calls! 2. The protective cover over the USB charge port will eventually tear off. It is not strong and after using it for sometime, it will break. 3. Noise cancelling is good. NOT waw!
