Brother DCP-L2550DW All-in-One Monochrome Laser Printer

Worked fine for a year, but then the printer stopped receiving wifi print jobs, despite a strong single. The scanning function continues to work, but the printing function over wifi only works sporadically. I would not buy this printer again and am looking to replace it. This seems to be a common problem, based on other reviews. Also the quality is not as sharp as my other desktop all-in-one canon printer.

Lovely printer but can't get it to scan multiple double sided pages and store in a single file. Can't get help via phone. Chat bots are stupid and useless. Help from an on-line number resulted in my computer being hacked and it has been an expensive problem to remedy and very time-consuming.

This is a good machine. It prints, scans and copies well. What stops me from giving it 5 stars is that the direction are awful and largely useless. The only way to get this machine operational is to go to their website and download all the drivers and updates. They should just say this in the directions and give the specifi drivers rather than giving the awful directions that come with the machine. It wasted time and caused a good deal of frustration until I called tech support, (which was very good by the way) to get the correct drivers to download. I like the machine and would recommend it as long as you call in to get the updated drivers.

Everything you need. Duplex, wireless, AirPrint. Doesn't mind sitting idle for long periods of time.

The product was short on instructions and not easy to find anything on the internet. I have very basic needs so I have been able to learn by repeated attempts to learn how to make it wok for me. it prints very well when you teach your self how to do it. I am sure it does more but I cannot find any instructions 0n the WWW.

So far this has been an exceptional printer. Bought over a year ago and has worked every single time. One issue I have found is sometimes if the printer is in deep sleep you have to wake it before printing. But in my household my computer is the only one that won't wake the printer from deep sleep, so likely an issue with my computer and not the printer.

Excellent printer. So far, one month ownership, the software works flawlessly from all our devices. The printer is fast and copy quality is good. No problems at all.

DCPL2550DW constantly goes into deep sleep. The instructions on Brother website are not helpful and do not solve the issue.

Very happy with this product. It prints quickly and does everything that I expected it to do. It is my second one my old one finally died and just replaced it with an updated model.

Great fast printer. I bought this to replace my 11-year-old Samsung printer which was getting hard to find toner for.. I love how fast this printer prints out. There is hardly no delay from when I send the print to when it prints. I love the automatic feeder for scanning saves a lot of time compared to my old one which was just a flatbed scanner it's a toner for this printer is widely available and quite economical however I don't know how long the original toner that came with the printer will last. I'm hoping that it'll last at least a year like my old printer. Print quality is fairly good although I wouldn't use it for printing photos. My daughters, and I love the dual sided printing. I would highly recommend this printer. Only thing it doesn't have compared to the higher model is the automatic dual side scanning, but I didn't need that anyway. I would highly recommend this printer.

So far I really like this printer , it was easy to setup following the instructions. I love that it's wireless. I can send print jobs to the printer with my iPad or cell phone.

I bought this through Newegg. FIt did not have all the cords I needed but I had what did not come in the package. The driver upload was straightforward. I have not tried using it as a fax machine so don't know about that part. I like the speed of printing, no jamming. Don't know yet the lifespan of the cartridge. Also don't know how I'll recycle it at the end of its life. It is making my non-profit treasurer duties that I do from home much easier.

I BOUGHT A PRINTER DCP-2550DW. IT IS WORKING FAIRLY WELL, BUT WHEN A BOUGHT THE GENUINE BROTHER TONER IT SAIDS THAT WILL BE GOOD FOR ABOUT 1200 PAGES. THAT IS NOT TRUE FOR ME. I DON'T THINK I OBTAIN MORE THAN 400 PAGES WHEN THE TONER WAS LOW AGAIN.
