I like the ability to be able to simply replace any of the four major worn components. The only concern I have with printing newsletters on two sides, is that I can't always get the printer to stop printing momentarily in just the right spot so that I can pick off each completed copy as they print on the second or rear side of the paper. I'm sure there's some simple little programming step that I'm missing.

It's fast, cheap, doesn't use a lot of power or use a lot of consumables. Text is crisp, pages come out rapidly & in rapid succession. All in all a very capable SOHO printer. Two significant issues are: wireless LAN configuration & photo printing. I'll start with the easier: photo printing. It's terrible. Extraordinarily bad. It's not the resolution or anything like that, the printer is just bad at it. Printed photos look awful no matter what. Wireless LAN. The configuration is a total pain, regardless of what method you follow, and none of them are convenient. You can use the wizard, which only works marginally, you can do it manually, which takes forever, or you can use the assistant (the Brother recommended method which involves connecting the printer to a PC with a USB cable just to configure the printer. That's how bad the built-in configuration is, that Brother recommends you not even use it. Change Wifi SSIDs? Should be simple. Not with this machine. Plus, regardless of what method you use, the printer may, or may not, actually connect even if all your settings are correct. To top it off, it occasionally just and goes & forgets its configuration for no reason, causing you to go through the misery again.

This printer does a great job as a basic color printer. Printing Labels (Standard Avery Label #5168 repeatedly jams both from the multipurpose tray and rear cover. Called Customer Service after using online support and found that support basically went online and did the same thing I had just done. Only wanted to talk about how to clear a jam, not how to prevent it. Good Printer if you only print on standard paper.

Brothers HL – L8350CDW is a great printer, easy to use, color clear pictures for small jobs as well as large ones.

I grew tired of inkjet printers anhow often the printer was cheaper than the ink. I work quite often with artists and photographers and the color and quality was better in most cases. I haven't had to buy replacement cartridges anywhere near as often as my many inkjets.

This is my second Brother printer. First one lasted several years. Very happy with this model. The color is vibrant, print quality is excellent, and I do like the double sided printing feature. I also like the wireless feature. It was very easy to set up on my home network.

No problems to date, works fine. Too early to ell about how long will toner lasts or long term reliability but I have had other Brother printers ( B&W) and never had a problem. Note: I am not a power user with hundreds of pages per day so this is from the aspect of of a home user.

When one of my larger color laser printers decided to quit working, I needed something to replace it. I headed for Amazon and this Brother HL-L8350CSW laser printer was on sale at a very good price. I ordered one; received it two days later. The set up was very easy. I started printing within an hour after opening the box and the quality of the printing was equal to the other much more expensive printer. The one that had died in the middle of a very important project.. I was able to resume the project and finish it on time.

Quick and easy to connect to my wireless network. Had some unknown error's in the control board and brother replaced the entire printerit twice at their expense. Really fast customer service. Goes to sleep to save power which is nice.

This printer has everything that I was looking for in a printer: wireless, duplex printing, color printing, toners for high volume printing. My wife and I and sister-in-law have started individual as well as joint businesses and we needed the ability to print color and black and white without the ink running out quickly, and we neeed the ability to print wirelessly. Also, it was reasonably priced! Just what we needed!

I’ve been using this printer for a couple of months now, and I’m thrilled that I can print via WiFi from ALL my connected devices from any room in my house — plus the front porch! My computer doesn’t need to be on in order to print — SUPER BONUS! FAVS: Color 2-sided printing with the benefit of the Brother high capacity toner cartridge cost effectiveness is another HUGE bonus. If this printer lasts the length of my extended warranty, I’d buy it again in a heartbeat. The only thing that would make an upgrade of this model better is an option to print on 11x17 paper.

Pros: Paper path can be reached, toner easy to change, wireless printing reliable and quick. Cons: Big and heavy. Bypass door has plastic hinges; already broken one. This replaces a Samsung color laser which I literally wore out (every part needed replacing) and it didn't duplex. Tried a highly rated hp in same category (color laser, duplex) and returned it within a day (after repeated paper jams, it ate a page to point of needing to return it to factory). Like the fact that I can dig into machine if necessary (although it hasn't been necessary yet). Hate that someone thought plastic hinges on a much used part was a good idea. Love that there has been no lag time or lost documents while wirelessly printing from my Mac.

A GREAT printer for the price. My ONLY issue is when it is in "sleep" or Deep Sleep" it will not wake up without being rebooted. I have been on the phone with tech. support updating firmware, etc. etc and still nothing. It will wake up just after initially going to sleep, but if its been long it will not rise.

Solid preforming printer and is all that it was advertized to be. Color copies are excellent and is slightly slower to wake up to print but makes up for that in speed once the printing starts. Really like the front loading for the toner a lot easier than deep under a top cover. I really liked my old OKI and did not want to part with it but too many moving parts that break over time. Glad I bought this one instead of fixing the old printer.

I had this printer (along with an inkjet) installed a liltle over 2 months ago for my home office. This laser was a replacement for an older smaller Brother color laser. So far I have had no issues with this printer. I like that you can put more then one sheet of paper in the manual feed tray, which is a vast improvement over my last one. I also like you it has the auto duplex feature, if you need it for certain documents and it saves on paper! It prints much faster and colors are more vibrant then the old one. Based on everything so far, I am expecting this printer to last & perform well for years to come.

We have had this printer for a few months, not heavy usage but recently used for my daughters wedding invitations. Very nice color and took the heavier stock media without an issue. Print was clean and sharp once we adjusted the printer properly. Installation was easy, breezed through it for a wired network connected printer, we have 3 PC's on this in a home environment. So far easy to manage and use, no issues. I will say it is a heavy printer so careful moving it.

This printer is a beefy home office printer that has given me no issues. One of the features that I really like is the ability to print directly from my iPhone or iPad instead of having to use my laptop. The only reason this is a 4 star review is because the user interface could be a bit more user friendly. That aside though, this is a solid printer packed with all the functions that I need.

The printer is very easy to setup and begin using. The print quality is great. The utilities available make the printer very easy to manage. Changing the paper and the toner cartridges is quick and easy with no need to lift or move the printer. I have the printer connected to the wireless network in our home which makes it easy to print to from several different devices.

I like the printer because it works quietly and is frugal with toner. I have been using it for four months, and the starter toner cartridges are still working. The colors are well duplicated from the screen colors and are crisp and bright. The black print is excellent. The access door allows printing of heavier paper stock. The automatic two-sided printing is essential for my applications - and it works very well. The printer is heavy!

When I printed my deposit report the number that where printed in red had a yellow halo. I got on a help chat with brother and they were able to show me how to correct this problem. with in about 10 minutes I had the problem correct. Thank Brother help
