Brother HL-L2370DW XL Monochrome Laser Printer

This printer works fine for letter sized paper. It is also supposed to print smaller sized papers. I am trying to print on index cards, which I was told by Brother tech support my printer can handle. Unfortunately it can't. I can print on one card which is hit or miss if it will print straight. Then when attempting to print the second card, it keeps telling me there is a paper jam. There is no paper jam. I have to turn the printer off and back on to get it to attempt to print the second card. Even then, most of the time it will again tell me that there is a jam, but will have no problem printing on a letter sized paper with no reset or adjustment.

Extremely unreliable and regret-worthy purchase. I, like most people living in this century are wireless centric. This printer's wireless reliability is abysmal at BEST. Seldom can I get back to back prints to happen without a wireless issue. Brother should be embarrased, I am ashamed of myself for buying such an unreliable printer. Positives... It's fast, just as any other laser printer would be. So it meets expectations in that regard which is about the only kudos I can attribute to this paper weight.

I set up the printer with log in and user name but now I find that I can't log in. I need to update software but have not been able to. I also have a printing question that I need help getting the right setting to print correctly.

Problem with printer! The printer draws so much initial power at each print job, the lights dim and my backup power source beeps a warning.

Love my new Brother HL-L2370DW! The wireless features work like a charm with both my Apple products and my local in-home network. Easy to set up and the thing just prints like a BOSS! I replaced my seven year old Brother printer that died due to overuse. It served a proud lifetime of printing without ANY issues!!!

I don't enjoy getting solicitations for reviews so I usually say "It hasn't died yet." However, in the case of this printer I'm willing to go a little nuts for it. It's compact, quiet, and fast; the print quality is excellent; the connection to Wi-Fi has been reliable; and yes, it hasn't died yet. I can recommend it without reservation.

My husband bought me this printer for my birthday. As soon as I tried to set it up, I knew it was a mistake, but I didn't want to make him feel bad by asking him to return it. It is 9 months later, and the printer still never works. Despite many attempts, I have successfully printed about 20 sheets from the printer. Every time we attempt to print, the printer is not connected to the internet, or some other issue that I can't determine. The worst part is the interface is from 1985, so it is incredibly difficult to even figure out what the issue is. Now, I just want a working printer but I hate that we have wasted money on this printer. I can't even try to resell it, because I know it doesn't work. BTW, I am a computer engineer. This is not an issue of my knowledge.

Sharpness of printing is good. Fairly fast. Printing envelopes is poor with frequent jamming and light impressions

Purchased this printer following good experience with the same model in another location. The first unit identified the wi fi immediately and following set up was a few steps. This unit simply refused to log on , the web site and accompanying instructions were of little help however customer support was excellent and basically advised step by step how to wipe the printer clean and re program it. Without their help it would have been back in the box for return. Having got it working it is an excellent printer producing clean monochrome prints although not as multi tasking-copy, fax, paper size etc.as other larger and far more expensive Brother units.

This monochrome laser replaced my 14 year old Brother, which worked well until the end. This version has more bells and whistles, including WiFi printing, but has one major printing problem. The software fails to properly print double-sided on long side. The second side prints and reprints all over one quarter of the page, rather than properly. Short-sided printing works fine, but it results in a flipped page for viewing. I hope Brother releases an update to the software which works properly. Other than this problem, it is a good lower cost monochrome laser.

This works exactly as I want it to. I'm an infrequent printer, so I needed something that didn't have the problem of ink drying out. So far, so good.

I just need a spare printer for just printing checks and envelopes. Print quality is fine for this. The only thing I do not like is it tends to shift when loading the envelopes and then it prints crooked and wrinkles the envelope a bit.

I purchased this printer because I had been using a multi purpose color printer that was relatively slow. This Brother laser prints fast and the printing is sharp and clear. This printer is exactly what I was looking.

If this you plan to use this printer on a circuit tied to a GFI breaker and test button, DON'T. It will trip the breaker on start up and shut down your home office! Brother is aware of the issue, google it, but does not forewarn purchasers of this defect. It took a couple of lengthy support chats to learn the hard way. Had an electrician change the breaker, and all is well. now.

The set up instructions could be better. I ended up going to Youtube. Otherwise its great. This is not a big problem, but it does spit the print outs with such gusto that they end up on the floor. I'm very happy with my purchase.
