Brother HL-L8360CDW Color Laser Printer

Great printer. Good quality output. I have had to hardwire the printer to my laptop as I kept loosing the connection with wifi. It is slow to start the first print but that was expected as it says so in the description. It is quite large so it takes up quite a bit of room on my desk. I am very happy with it's performance overall. I would recommend it.

This is my third brother laser in about 30 years. The current older model does not duplex. Otherwise it is still a well engineered machine still sold by Brother. The problem is the retailer software generated two orders. They refuse at Corporate to take the extra machine back. Now they claim they delivered the second machine a day later than the first. They did not. The local management assisted me in attempting to return the unopened boxed machine. Corporate did not cooperate. I have no idea what at this point happened to the machine. Needless to say the Company will get no more of my business if they continue to falsify on-line records and lie about everything. I suggest Brother quit using this corporation. IF you need that corporation name, I will provide it in private to you.

This laser printer is what I needed for my small business. It handles any job at an affordable price. The print is clear and it prints on thick paper.

I've had my HL-L8360CDW for 6 months, and we don't print large volumes anymore. But when I need to print reports, I expect them to look to be acceptable quality. That's not the case. I contacted Brother Service 2 weeks ago about the poor quality prints and found that the black toner cartridge that was shipped with the printer was bad/defective. So I purchased all new toner (the original was out of warranty), and the smudges are gone. However, large pictures come out with streaks in the blue sky, and the greys are pixilated (squares). The processing time to print is slow compared to my old color printer, but that's OK. I print an annual family calendar with large pics. My old printer died, and I was hoping this printer would have similar quality. That's not the case; the calendar just isn't worth printing with this printer. Good points: It's CHEAP. It's Color. It's easy to set up. Customer service was helpful identifying that the printer came with defective toner, and unfortunately, it wasn't under warranty anymore.

The machine (and its components) do not appear to be well made. We have a constant issue of getting the (Brother-brand) cartridges to "seed". In addition, it's appalling that there is no ARM support.

The printer does not work properly at all times. First it was a print image problem (after 2 updates and 5 calibration) it works better. After 500 pages; the problem is back. WiFi printing works but requires printer reset after 2 weeks. When it works properly; it's awesome but sadly it's inconsistent at that.

This is a high-quality printer that produces very clear printouts. However, it does take up to 30 seconds to print one page and since this is in an oil change shop, makes the customer wait each time they want their receipt printed. Other than the slow printing time, it's a great printer so far.

Love this printer. I needed to replace a 20+ year old Xerox Phaser and researched the L8360CDW and it has truly been a great choice. I like the quality of the printing, the use of the manual feed tray for labels and the dual sided printing when needed. I am probably going to buy a second one for home use as this one is in the office.

Superb printer. My first Brother printer and I love it. I initially bought and HP Color Laser printer but it was a piece of junk which I returned. I then bought this Brother Color Laser and doubt I'll ever go back to HP.

I would give this zero stars if possible. The printer worked fine out of the box. I bought a laser so that toner replacement would be a no-brainer. But ... I replaced an empty toner cartridge with a new one right out of the Brother box. Followed the instructions. Repeated the procedure a few times. Spent time with chat-support and phone support. Bottom line is that all they can do is to replace the cartridge under warranty. Wait! I bought mine to have it on my shelf when it would be needed. Hence, it is not under warranty which is 90 days. All they could offer is that I gamble $100 with the possibility that the problem is a defective cartridge. Bottom line: poor policy AND do not buy printer cartridges in advance. And, expect crappy support (no reset, nor bypass to their buy-Brother hardware) that makes it hard to keep a printer running.

If you want a great color printer, the Brother HL-L8360CDW is the one for you. The printer is a color laser printer so you will not have to worry about ink drying up in the lines like a inkjet printer. The toner is a little expensive, but typical for the improvement in printer quality.

Overall I do like this but there is a slight delay in the printer starting to print after having clicked on Print. The colour is not as sharp as it could be.

I bought this printer in 2016 as a laser printer replacement for my home office inkjet printer. With the exception of one feature (double sided printing), this printer has proven itself to be a real workhorse with quality output all the time. The quality of both mono and colour printing is excellent and its print speed is great. Printer cartridges, while quite expensive, seem to last for a good while. With regard to double-sided printing, at first it was flawless. However, around 6 months from purchase, the printer would jam every time I attempted to print on 2 sides. Frustrating, as it did save on paper consumption, but overall it's a small inconvenience for me. Were it not for this problem, I would give the product a 5 star rating as I haven't had a major issue in the 7 years I have owned the printer

As a Linux (Ubuntu) user, this printer worked from the moment I plugged it in and added to the network. Not the case with our older HP. Could flip a coin if I needed to re-add/configure it at each use. Setting it up with a static IP on Wifi was simple to do on the device. Once connected, all other settings were managed via browser. While I cannot comment on the longevity of the device or toner, the printouts are outstanding. My wife, who is a teacher, uses it far more than I do and since installing it, not once have I had to touch a thing. I will admit, I chose Brother solely on the advice of other Linux users and so glad I did.

Used this machine for about 4 months and so far the experience exceeded expectations. Setup was incredibly easy - machine picked up both wired and wireless networks, I never had any problems accessing it from any mobile or desktop device in our household. Print quality is solid and print speed is impressive. No complaints :)

Set up was a pain, but it eventually worked after speaking with Brother support 3 times. I chose this printer for alignment accuracy and I give that a 80/100 print quality is good again, 80/100

Do not buy thi product. The printer takes 30 minutes to print.. Hooking it up is a nightmare. I have unintalled and reinstalled several times. Called Brother now this printer is out of warranty.

We have 4 ACTIVE Brother Printers as well as 3 prior units. Wouldn't consider any other brand. Quality is always BEYOND EXPECTATIONS. Not a single one of our 7 Brother printers -- and they run the gamut from inexpensive to top of the line -- has failed us for any reason through these past many years. Expendables are reasonably priced, readily available and shipped quickly; moreover, and unlike competitors, generic inks are both compatible and available when immediate needs must be met. Because our MANY Brother products are superbly designed, we have Never had the need to contact customer support. So, while I cannot speak to support, I can attest to the fantastic quality not just of our printers, but also our sewing machines, sergers, and other Brand items in our household and business operations. In a word for Brother Products "OUTSTANDING!"
