Absolutely terrible experience with this product. It has never worked reliably from day one. I have called customer service to try and get assistance on numerous occasions without success. Hold times are unbelievably long. I really wish I had bought from a different company

Box states that you can print 4,500 pages with each toner I only got to 2000 pages and was only printing a paragraph. Didn't get any help from customer service after being on the line for 40 minutes.

I bought this printer a little over 2 years ago to replace our ever-failing line of inkjets. I deliberately spent extra for a laser printer because of their purported reliability and Brother's reputation for quality. However, this unit failed completely after just 2 years of light use. We did not even exhaust a single toner cartridge. When I contacted Brother and explained the situation, they offered no support due to the expired 1-year warranty, and even suggested that I buy a new unit. While this reply was very disappointing, it was all too predictable in today's market flooded with products designed to fail. Apparently, Brother is no exception to this embarrassing trend. As a military member, I am frequently away from home and need a reliable product that I can return home to and depend upon to work. I see now that my trust in Brother for lasting quality was misplaced. Do you think $400 for 2 years of light use is a fair price to pay for such a minimal return in service? The unit displays the code "Print Unable 01" on powerup, which suggests a failed main board. The cost of repair at one of the local service centers exceeds the original cost of the unit. One of the local repair agents I spoke with even admitted that he's seen frequent problems with this specific product line from Brother. In his professional experience, this is just one more cheaply-produced model that's deliberately designed to fail. I'd truly expected better from Brother. Frankly, I find the suggestion to purchase a new unit insulting. Rest assured, given this experience, I will decidedly NEVER purchase another Brother product again. I've learned that it will simply fail again shortly after the warranty expires, and that Brother takes no pride in the actual quality of its products. Spend your money elsewhere.

Purchased online & had this shipped to the Best Buy to pick up; Fedex destroyed the box. It was slammed so hard even the heavy inner styrofoam cushion was broken. I have plenty of pictures but cant seem to upload them here. I made a strong concern about its damage to the service agent at the pick up desk and she assured me if there was a problem I could bring it back. The reason I had it shipped to the store was I didnt want the gorillas that normally deliver to the house, to damage it. Surprise. In hindsight I should have rejected the order and insisted on a new one being shipped and received in better condition. The printer itself is quiet enough, clarity of the print is good, fairly easy to set up other than the debacle that included going thru 2 BB agents who couldn't agree on the correct cable that I needed for my new Dell All in One 27" as I did not want to use it wireless. Thankfully, Brothers gave me the exact info. I did like the fact that there are videos on the Brothers website on how to set up the printer for us that are techno challenged. Who knows if something got jumbled inside the components during its joy ride from FedEx , I havent had to use it much but I am not confident this printer will be as long lived as my original Brothers from 2013 due to the way this was mistreated during shipment, my gut tells me it will cease working when I least expect it. I enjoy the Brothers line up of printers over the years, just hope this one will amaze me as the others did in longevity.

I purchased this unit from Amazon for $318 on Oct 6, 2022 - RIP - January 18, 2024 - 15 months of use and it will not turn on. Sure, I had 15 months of use. Scanning and printing. Nothing major and I didn't use it every day. It was fast performed well. I had no problem scanning documents. Yes, Brother, I followed your instructions to unplug from the wall, wait 30 seconds, hold power button and plug-in cord at the same time for 15 seconds three times (sounds like a scene from the Wizard of Oz). Sat on hold with your wonderful help line for one hour to then be told to bring it to a service center. I just spent $108 for the service center to look at your 15 month old machine. They sent me a repair quote for an additional $114.75 for a bad "main board". $222.75 to fix a 15 month old piece of equipment. This does not include the two trips of 1 hour each to the repair center. This is incredibly disappointing. I cannot recommend the Brother brand ever again. BTW - I powered up my daughter's college ink jet printer that has been sitting for at least 4 years in my basement and BOOM it worked and still printed. Brand Cannon!!!

This printer is terrible. It's a mistake to purchase it after reading the positive reviews. Many default settings don't make sense and are not easy to change. Scanning is worse. The scanned files became shady with many black dots. Saving the scanned files is a strange process.

This was an incredible waste of money and is incredibly frustrating. The printer is constantly printing out gibberish and wasting my paper and toner ink. It's constantly "retrieving data" to do so and then doesn't print what I need to actually be printed. I tried following some confusing and frustrating online instructions to "fix" this from Brother, but those instructions don't work and aren't feasible on this printer. What an incredible frustration! I literally could not hate this printer more. I highly recommend against buying this.

This is our second Brother printer and it worked wonderfully well- for just under a month. The toner ran out in the middle of printing a document, saying I needed to install a new cartridge and so I did, using a genuine Brother replacement toner cartridge. It continued saying REPLACE TONER even after I rebooted, turned the printer off and on a dozen times etc. My husband spent half a day calling first the extended warranty company ( which informed us we were still under the manufacturer's warranty) and then Brother directly. Hours of time went into doing this dance. We finally drove the printer 35 miles into a certified repair place. The tech got the same error message and said she would have to order parts but then called us when we were halfway home to say she had finally gotten it reset. It had been several days and so far it is still working- but needless to say this will likely be our last Brother unit. If it goes out again I will use it for target practice and buy ANY other brand next time.

I bought this for my home office and it handily does everything I require of a printer/scanner. Installation is easy. However, I only gave it four stars because I can't connect it to my Wi-Fi and it wanted to default as a fax when printing from word.

Set up very confusing and time consuming, called tech support ,,,agent very helpful, took 2 hours on phone. Incoming calls from land line trigger fax, fax sound interferes free with phone call needing me to call back to sender, very distracting....need to call tech support for help

This was a perfect purchase for my needs. This one unit can scan, b&w double sided print and copy. There's a self feeder option and my printer is accessible by Wi-Fi to those within my household. This is a quality product that was easy to set up.

It is slower to start up and slower to print compared to my previous Brother MFC but the print quality is just fine. Also, the scan function is not as user friendly but the scanning of both sides in a single pass is certainly nice and the clarity is good. Overall the unit is adequate, but disappointing.

Does as advertised, for a reasonable price and the toner cost less than most other machines as well. I haven't had it very long yet but if it proves to be reliable, it would be one of the best all in one printers for the money.

My husband and I bought the Brother printer to replace a similar one that was difficult to operate. Now we have no problems because the wireless connection is consistently working, avoiding repeated calls for technical support. The scanning features and paper feeder for multiple pages are seamless. I can also save cost and inconvenience with our subscription for cartridge replacement.

I had this printer for a few weeks and nothing but problems. I finally gave up and returned it. I purchased the Brother MFC-L2710DW and it's excellent. I've used Brother printers for over 25 years and never had one that I had to return.

I purchased the MFC-L2750DW after I had much pleasure and no breakdowns with the MFC-L2710DW. I needed another printer for an additional office and found that the drum and toner cartridges fit both machines. I am just as pleased with the 2750 as the2710 and would recommend eiter one to anyone who asks

I am not able to print multiple checks at a time. I have to feed the printer one check at a time and have to be very careful so it won't print crooked.

Installation process was a nightmare. Stuck with USB connection. Wifi connection doesn't work even after troubleshooting for 3 hours. All I wanted to do was install a driver and ended up with a bunch of garbage Brother programs I didn't want.
