It is an outstanding accessory for use your binoculars for spotting. The only thing that would make it better would be to have an arca attachment milled on it from the factory.

The Quick Release Binocular Tripod Adapter is well-made, easy to install, and simple to use. It can attach to a standard camera shoe for compatibility with your typical camera tripod. 

Two things that stood out to me. 1) It'd be nice to include a camera shoe in the kit especially at this price point, or make the base a little bigger to be ARCA rail friendly, and 2) I wish the top tension screw was easier to tighten. Binos can move on that axis with fairly minimal force. I'd give it a solid 5-star rating otherwise.

Overall, I use this item frequently and would recommend it to other.

This adapter is well made and works fine for what I wanted. I use it on my tripod with my Bushnell Engage Binoculars while rifle shooting.

Easy to use, sturdy

This is an excellent little tripod adapter with a quick detach feature. Fits a standard tripod screw and or an arca plate and then you screw the stem into the binos at the center post, pop the center post into the tripod adapter, and tighten the knurled screw on the top and you are ready to go. Want to take you binos off, just unscrews the knurled knob and pull them out of the adapter housing and screw the knurled screw back down. I do wish they had an option to purchase the stems on their own. Otherwise, great little product. Comes with two Allen wrenches, one for putting the stem into the binos and the other to tighten the stem in to place. Had mine two days after I ordered it.

Superb Device!

Solid construction. Ease of use. Great and solid connection to various tripod release plates. The connecting pin has a stout connection to the binos without fear of it becoming lose while in your bag or bino harness.

The tilt and lock design is actually quite convenient - it makes it easier to get the bino's aligned and locked in and feels like it'd be more robust than other designs over time. It's not heavy. I just wish it came with an ARCA bottom.

Great mid-priced Tripof Adapter

Many photographers (and hunters) have Arca-Swiss style tripod heads or mounts. Re-designing the base of this into an Arca-Swiss plate would take minimal effort/expense and make for a more adaptable product, more worthy of its rather high price. I agree with the other review: the special bolt/pin that goes into the binoculars should be an available replacement part. Pricing that at 1/2 the cost of this unit would not be unreasonable.

Arca-Swiss base would improve this

Excellent item, BUT the stem that screws into the binos is available separately. Lost yours - throw the whole adapter away! Wanna put a different set of binos on your tripod? Buy a second adapter or futz around with swapping over the stem. 
It could be so easy though ... just get a second stem for those other binos. Or replace the one you dropped on the beach and never found again.
