Brilliant Once Again

Brilliant bit of kit yet again from BT. Over-engineered but so solid. As the other reviewer said - needs a longer support post as an option.

Beautifully Engineered

I have the Leftfiled 3 for the Sony FX6 and I bought this Lens support for the Sony 200-600 F5.6-6.3 G OSS lens and the post connects securly to the lens making it rock solid. Please note anyone with the Sony 70-200mm GM OSS II on their FX6 will need an extended support post as the distance to the lens barrel is beyond the scope of the standard lens support post.I have temporarily inverted the LWS support and this works but is not Ideal.I have added some pictures for clrification.I will be ordering an extended support post soon.

I recently purchased the LWS Lens Support and it does exactly what it’s supposed to. However, the reason why I bought this was because I wanted to be able to switch lenses quickly. I own the Zacuto lens support, which is good, however, there are a few steps to take in removing it. When time is everything, I wanted something that would quickly allow me to change lenses and not have to worry about the accessories in front, i.e., handles, follow focus, and matte box. The Morrissey lens support is solid. I really like the push-button lock/eject feature, and the 3/8? mounting option. It’s easy to slide on and off the rails. There’s little to no time when it comes to changing lenses and it’s something that lives in my 17-120 lens case.

Brilliant bit of kit yet again from BT. Over-engineered but so solid. As the other reviewer said - needs a longer support post as an option.

The 15mm Studio Lens Support System is an optional accessory that securely supports large lenses to reduce the load on the lens mount. Your lenses can be secured using a robust 3/8" threaded bolt. The bolted section in the middle can be laterally adjusted to easily lock into the lens thread. Your 19mm Studio Lens Support System is built from hard anodized aluminum, stainless and hardened steel to ensure maximum durability.

By using one solid block to clamp on to both bars, we can achieve a more secure support of the lens on the 19mm Studio rods. This approach allows use of a single quick release lever to effortlessly lock it in place, even in cramped spaces while being easy to operate with gloves.
