The Clash 138 makes it so much easier to be efficient on set with several lens sets. Being able to quickly toss in a diopter or pola and still be pretty light, makes all the difference in the world. Any amount of weight savings is always appreciated and Bright Tangerine gets it. This was exactly what I needed for my Atlas Anamorphic set.

I have been waiting for a matte box like this for a long time. I needed a clamp-on matte box that could hold 138mm filters as close to the front of the lens as possible. I have many older anamorphic lenses with large front diameters (134mm and larger) and they require the regular use of 138mm round diopters. The Clash holds the diopters extremely close to the front element of the lens. This is important because if the diopter is held too far from the front of the lens, there is a much greater chance of vignette caused by seeing the edge of the diopter. The Clash is a game changer when using large-diameter anamorphic lenses. I love that I can place a 138mm diopter or pola, as well as two 4×5.65 filters in a very compact, light-weight, clamp-on style matte box.
