At the heart of this camera lies a 1/2.3" CMOS sensor paired with the powerful DIGIC DV 6 image processor, delivering crisp 4K footage at 30p and smooth Full HD at 60p.
The CR-N300's Canon 4K lens is a marvel of optical engineering, boasting a 20x optical zoom that maintains high precision across the entire zoom range. With a broad 65.6-degree horizontal viewing angle and a 29.3mm wide-end focal length, the camera captures expansive scenes with ease, even in confined spaces. Aspherical lens elements ensure 4K image clarity while minimizing aberrations, and the built-in optical image stabilization combats camera shake for steady shots.
Hybrid AF technology in the CR-N300 combines high-precision contrast AF with high-speed phase-difference AF, ensuring rapid and reliable focus. Over Sampling HD Processing leverages the 4K sensor's data to produce superior Full HD videos, ideal for content creators who demand the highest quality in FHD output.
The camera's pan and tilt mechanism is engineered for smoothness and responsiveness, with variable speeds ranging from 0.2 to 300 degrees per second for pan and 0.2 to 170 degrees per second for tilt, allowing for precise and fluid motion control.
Integration into existing Canon workflows is seamless, thanks to four Scene Modes that optimize settings for various shooting conditions, including Portrait, Sports, Low Light, and Spotlight.
