After 5 years of daily use opening boxes and such the spring broke in my first one. Otherwise it was still in great working order. Warranty process was super easy and I got a new one. I have tried other knives, some more than triple the price and just don't like them nearly as well as the RX350.

Very satisfied with my second Coast Knife! This one arrived quickly and is well made, sharp and ready for immediate use. The opening action is improved on my previous knife and opens quick and strong. So far the blade is holding an edge very well with fairly frequent and varied use.

Nearly impossible to open with one hand. I have a number of the slightly smaller RX300 which is a near perfect knife. The larger RX350 is a flop due to sticking blade when opening.

What this thing gets right is the quick release without a spring. It's not terribly fast like some reviews lead you to believe but fast enough that it matters. I like some sprink loaded ones the tension. Isn't so great putting it away. It's a good design but the blad is so so and the handle feels cheap and is too light to be balanced with the blade.

Really good knife, great edge, great shape - only one improvement needed: ambidextrous thumb knurl for opening with either hand.

Great opening mechanism. Decent blade steel. Blade is really wobbly and doesn't exude confidence in it's long term durability with the assist opening feature. This knife is massive in length and thickness to the point in which I don't think it would be a good edc for most folks. Some changes could make this a great value but for me this one will probably be regifted or shoved in a drawer and forgotten about.

Only thing I found wrong was that the screw with the red trim keeps coming loose. Other wise Its a great knife.

Purchased at Home Depot for 20 bux. Was intrigued by the assisted opening. It’s not really ‘spring assisted’ like a lot of knifes claim to be. It’s something else entirely, but whatever it is, this thing is fast. Blink of an eye fast. Not a fan of nylon grips, but dang it man this knife is quick. Blade locks open to which is another feature I really like. At this price point you cannot lose. If they gave you the option to upload a video, lots of folks would be surprised.

I've had this knife for over two years and it is best assisted opening knife I have owned and I have owned quit a few. I bought it due to having a safety lock, which keeps the blade locked in either open or closed positions, which is a great feature. I have had other assisted openers accidently open in my pocket and opened when dropped and these were not cheap knives. Got cut several times and ruined two pairs of pants. Secondly, I love the liner lock. It is very strong and locks into place perfectly. What I really like is the upper edge of the liner lock sits higher than the handle edge and has nice scalloping, which makes the liner lock release very easy. Kudos to these designs! I have other liner lock knives which are a pain to get the lock to release! Not this knife! Finally!!! A company that knows how to make a great all-around folding lock back knife!

I wanted a good quality spring-assist blade without the $150-$300 pricepoint...I ran across THIS little gem and was SURE there had to be a pricing error. Now if I lose or break this knife I won't be launching a full-blown tirade as some of my colleagues have been known for ! I actually LOVE IT .

Really really love this knife! Assisted opening works like butter and the blade has held up very well. Just an overall great design at a great price. I would add some lock tite to the clip though since mine is gone now.Keep up the good work Coast, glad to have such a cool Portland company around!

Coast thank you. I am a left hander and it is extremely hard to find a quality knife. this is by far the best including the other knives displayed on this site. They all seem to be true ambidextrous knives. Thanks for making a great knife and helping the lefty find a knife that fits/works/ and just works. Thumbs up !!! Talk about a smooth opening knife that is as rugged as it looks, that is what your getting with this knife! If you notice that a lot of companies are going to the assisted opening knifes and they are nice to have but if you ever look inside of other brands you will see a little torsion bar that has constant pressure on It at all times, we are talking about a little piece of spring steel that is from my standpoint got no choice but to break sometime and they have I have one right now as proof lol!! Not that it can't be removed and used anyways but that takes effort and time!! If your life is depending on that second and that is when it decides to snap well let's just say it would be bad timing and now you would have a $129.00 knife that is useless at that moment!! When I look at the COAST assisted opening knife I see great and simple engineering that WORKS!!! If you don't believe me just go outside and look under the rear of your truck and you will see a leaf spring, that is what holds all the weight of the truck plus whatever you decide to carry in the bed of it!!! That simple leaf spring design has been around forever because it is the best and it works and also ask yourself how many leaf springs have you ever changed out on your truck in its entire lifetime?? More then likely none and they still back there working!!! The assisted spring on the COAST spring assisted knifes work in that same matter and will be working long after every other design has failed, I would be willing to bet money on that!! Thanks COAST for keeping the great products rolling out and keeping them where the average broke American like myself can afford to have a tool that will last us years to come!!! Great,great,design!!!!
