This meticulously crafted Japanese-made guitar is a part of the MJ Series, a lineup that combines top-tier features with breathtaking finishes.
The Charvel MJ San Dimas Style 1 HSS FR M is a pinnacle of innovative design tailored for the modern musician. Its resonant alder body is sculpted with a contoured shredder's cut heel, ensuring maximum playing comfort. The bolt-on maple neck, reinforced with graphite, is designed for dependable performance. It features a hand-rubbed urethane back finish and a heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel for easy customization.
The guitar's 12"-16" compound radius maple fingerboard is designed with player comfort in mind, featuring rolled edges, 24 jumbo frets, and black dot inlays. The Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 humbucking bridge pickup, mounted directly onto the guitar, delivers an unmistakable upper midrange attack, singing highs, and articulate low end. The Seymour Duncan Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 middle and neck pickups, also directly mounted, strike the perfect balance between increased output and dynamic Strat character.
With a five-way blade switch, volume control, and no-load tone control, the tonal possibilities of this guitar are virtually limitless. The recessed Gotoh GE1996T Series double-locking tremolo ensures excellent tuning stability, even under the most intense playing conditions.
