I purchased the Clauss RODEON piXplorer 2-Axis Panoramic Head for the main purpose of photographing original art works in very high resolution for printing, studying and archiving the art. A comprehensive manual is not provided and the YouTube videos do not cover all modes of operation. The unit is capable of a lot but you have to be patient and climb the learning curve. Using the piXplorer you can create extremely large files so you need to make sure your computer is up to the task. After a couple of weeks I am finally getting comfortable using the unit. One downside to this product: when you rotate the unit left or right to set the corners the unit sounds like it is grinding coffee. I don't know if this is a problem or normal operation. I have requested help for this issue.
