This lens combines the timeless aesthetic of the original Speed Panchro with the advantages of contemporary glass and technology.

This lens is designed to deliver the coveted Cooke Look, a unique visual aesthetic that has made the Cooke Speed Panchro lenses legendary among photographers and filmmakers. The design of this lens has been adapted and upgraded from the vintage classic, featuring modern glass for superior image quality.

The 25mm T2.2 Panchro/i Classic Prime Lens is color balanced, color matched, and compatible with Cooke 5/i, S4/i, miniS4/i, and Anamorphic/i lenses. This ensures consistency across your shots, even when switching between different lenses in the Cooke range.

Equipped with /i Technology, this lens allows for frame by frame digital information capture. This technology enables cameras to automatically record key lens data for every frame shot, providing post-production teams with valuable information such as lens setting, focusing distance, aperture, depth-of-field, hyperfocal distance, and serial number. This streamlines the production and post-production processes, saving time and cost by eliminating guesswork.

The Panchro/i Classic series comprises of 12 Prime Lenses, all optically designed to replicate the classic and infamous vintage Speed Panchro look of the 1920s, as well as the distinctive Cooke Look. These lenses provide a Super35 version of the famous Cooke Speed Panchro lenses, combining the vintage look with a modern opto-mechanical design.

The 25mm T2.2 Panchro/i Classic Prime Lens features a smooth and accurate focus movement, designed with precision mechanics to provide a consistent feel in operation throughout the entire focus movement. The lens also includes standardised 0.8 MOD focus and Iris drive gears, and a fixed common front diameter of 110mm.

All Panchro/i Classic prime lenses are color balanced and color matched, ensuring consistency across the series. The lens features a nine-leaf linear module iris assembly, providing an aperture range of T2.2-T22.

The lens comes with a precision PL Mount with /i Technology Electrical Contacts, and a durable and hard-wearing surface finish to withstand the most demanding environmental conditions.
