This led us to recreate this classic lens, incorporating the benefits of modern glass and technology while preserving the original aesthetic. This high-quality, professional lens is a modern interpretation of the legendary Cooke Speed Panchro, offering the same coveted Cooke Look that filmmakers and photographers adore. Our redesigned 75mm T2.2 Panchro/i Classic Prime Lens for PL Mount, Meter is an upgraded version of the vintage classic, featuring modern glass that ensures superior image quality. It is color balanced, color matched, and compatible with Cooke 5/i, S4/i, miniS4/i, and Anamorphic/i, making it a versatile addition to any camera kit. Equipped with /i Technology, this lens captures frame by frame digital information, including lens setting, focusing distance, aperture, depth-of-field, hyperfocal distance, and serial number. This feature streamlines both production and post-production processes, saving time and cost by eliminating guesswork. The lens is expertly crafted using traditional grinding and polishing techniques to achieve the highest level of precision. More insights and measurements are taken than ever before to ensure superior quality. The glass is coated and cemented with minerals evaporated at high temperatures in a vacuum to create a thin film. The glass diameters are perfectly round, thanks to meticulous edging. The Panchro/i Classic series comprises 12 Prime Lenses, all designed to provide the classic vintage Speed Panchro look of the 1920s, as well as the Cooke Look. They cover super35 formats and are ergonomically designed for smooth and accurate focus movement. All Panchro/I Classic primes have standardized 0.8 MOD focus and Iris drive gears, and a fixed common front diameter of 110mm. They are compact, making them suitable for all shooting applications. The lenses are color balanced and color matched, ensuring consistency across the series. The Panchro/I Classic series of prime lenses feature a nine-leaf linear module iris assembly, providing an aperture range of T2.2-T22. All lenses have factory calibrated focus scales with clearly identifiable distance marks. The precision PL Mount with /i Technology Electrical Contacts and a durable, hard-wearing surface finish make this lens reliable and suitable for the most demanding environmental conditions. All Panchro/I Classic series prime lenses are designed for full performance and reliability with a minimum of downtime.
