Great swabs and fluid as always, but the light/swab holder is awkward to use... and the quality of the lamp is not great either. I prefer a bright gooseneck lamp as the light source when cleaning my sensors, if you don't have a good stationery light, or for field use this is certainly a workable solution.

Sensors need cleaning now and then, especially if one changes lenses in the field. Also, no matter how well a camera is sealed, dust gets in, micro-drops of oil sometimes fall from shutter and lens mechanisms, and so on. One can have a professional cleaning, plus not having your camera for awhile, or one can use Visible Dust products and do it yourself. First suggestions: FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FAITHFULLY to get the best results. If you do, while it may take 2 or 3 passes, you will get a squeaky clean sensor. I get a sensor that is clean under a 10X loupe, no streaks or residue, usually with 2 passes. Also, the lighted swab holder really helps with accurate placement of the swab without contacting the camera body, which can introduce contaminants.

Sensor Clean
Sensor Clean has many characteristics that make it an excellent choice for cleaning your sensor. While it is best used on water based stains and light dust contamination, it also provides excellent dust repellent properties and anti-fogging capabilities. Sensor Clean works best with Visible Dust MXD-100 Green Series Swabs. Sensor Clean liquid. All of Visible Dust's solutions are safe on ITO and non ITO coated sensors. Visible Dust liquid cleaners (Sensor Clean, VDust Plus and Smear Away) when used with Visible Dust Sensor Cleaning swabs are safe and effective on all digital cameras including: Canon, such as the 400D, 40D, 1D MKIII and 1Ds MKIII, Nikon D300 and D3 and Alpha Sony 700.
Sensor Cleaning Swabs VSwab MXD-100 Green
These swabs, with their unique fabric folding system, are specially tailored for cleaning your delicate sensor without leaving streaks, pooling or abrasions. Compatible with: VDust Plus, Sensor Clean, Smear Away. The patented mini-channel, with contour, provides an even saturation of the paddles surface while preventing pooling and vertical flow at the edge. This reduces streaks associated with traditional flat surface paddles. The mini-channels also provide the extra reservoir to absorb the excessive liquid and prolonging the moisture life of the swab during the cleaning process.
SwabLight
SwabLight is the world's first innovative and unique product (patent pending) from Visible Dust to enhance and facilitate the DSLR sensor cleaning technique. Since the sensor of digital camera is buried deep inside the chamber wall and covered with a dark surface to prevent lights from bouncing off, therefore this is a very difficult task for operator to position the swab exactly along the sensor edges, avoiding contamination by accidental contact with chamber walls. Most swab handles are made thin with little grip to be held firmly in hands reducing proper manipulation. A better grip on swab handle results for a more uniform pressure and movement producing streak free cleaning. SwabLight from Visible Dust greatly overcomes these deficiencies by having:
A better and a firm swab grip for a proper movement and pressure for streak free results
A better swab positioning on the sensor to easily master edge to edge sensor cleaning
A better and clear view of the sensor surface during sensor cleaning
Above all, using SwabLight from Visible Dust lessens the fear associated with self sensor cleaning, greatly enhances efficiency and results in reducing the number of swabs used per sensor cleaning session leading to more saving. SwabLight takes you to a completely higher professional level and fun sensor cleaning experience.
