I bought one of these off of Amazon. When I received it the center metal post that holds the target backing was bent at the base causing it not to mount to the frame. This was 2 days after Christmas and I was not able to reach anyone at Caldwell over the phone. My email was answered on 1/8/24 but I did not receive a follow up email. I called and did reach someone by phone and he assured me a new metal post would be mailed to me. Lo and behold they sent me a whole new target stand. I couldn't be happier! Great service! Great product!

For the price, portability, and functionality this is my "go to" on-the-go target stand. We had one already and I finally got a second one recently so we can use the 2x4 slot to setup a quick target shelf between them. The 2x4 configuration also makes for a more stable platform if it's windy. By itself the Ultimate Target Stand is an excellent ad-hoc target stand so long as it's not too windy. I've zeroed numerous handguns and rifles with this target stand and I suggest starting close to get a good rough zero before moving back to longer ranges to fine tune it. A pair of these, a 2x4, and a box full of paper targets and target objects fits easily in the trunk of my car for a range setup anywhere and anytime we're able.

Good for low volume shooting, not durable enough for keeping in the weather long term, nice to be able to replace backing board.

Very good target. Just make sure you are sighted in. Especially if you?re shooting from further distances. If you are off just a little and shoot at corner targets you can hit the metal holders and destroy your target!

Caldwell thought of it all when they created the Ultimate Target Stand. My son and I recently took our new Ultimate Target Stand out for an afternoon of shooting in the mountains. After getting the target stand up, I realized I had forgot to bring tacks for attaching the target to the stand.... I was impressed and thankful to find that Caldwell had included clips for attaching targets in a nifty compartment onboard the Ultimate Target Stand. Easy to set up and take down, the stand gets pretty small for easy storage. Great product, highly recommend!

One of the best $25 I?ve spent. Been using this target for 4 years, have nothing bad to say about it. Folds up small, holds the targets steady and the target board can take a lot of damage. Highly recommend.
