Questions & Answers

Cliff D : Is the digital tuner already in this model, or do you need the converter box?VIRGINIA A : From what I have been told, ATSC means it is digital. NTSC is HD capable. ,we have ours connected to basic cable, so I had to look this up for you. You can always check with the manufacturer, Coby. We have had this TV in our kitchen for several years and are very pleased with it.. You can call them at 800-727-3592DONALD M : you need the converter box.SALLY B : I have cable at the house, so am not sure if I can answer that question---but I did not need any box, so there. I love this set. The screen needs to be tipped up a bit for good resolution. Would recommend it. I do not use the radio part.BRENDA R : I'm sorry but I am not a technical-type person. I have this hooked up to a ROKU and cable TV. I hope this answers your question appropriately;.KWANDAA R : You do not need a digital tuner, but the picture quality was terrible. I returned the tv. VICKI G : You will need a converter box to get all the channels.BRIAN R : You need a converter box for anything above 99.ANDY B : I bought this for my wife for Christmas in 2011 and hooked up our digital cable and it works great, no converter box was needed.TINA Z : Not sure what exactly is being asked? I have a dish company providing my service. Hooks right up to the tv and works great.
Shopper : What is the difference between the KTFDVD1560 and the same thing with an SVR after it?BRIAN R : Sorry, I can't help you. You will just have to sit down an compare the specs for each.VIRGINIA A : The SVR just seems to be the manufacturer's model number for it. It don't think it's a different TV
Shopper : How much clearance is need to install under cabinet?BRENDA R : The actual unit sits flush on the undershelf. When the screen is open, you will need about 13" from the top of the until to the bottom of the screen. I really like it, we have it mounted to the underside of a shelf in my sewing/guest room.BRADLEY D : Flat bottom cabinets required or you have to come up with your own spacer. I actually recommend something else, Volume is not very adjustable, soft or too loud and picture is poor.BRIAN R : At least 13"XAKBEE E : It's about 10 inches clearanceSALLY B : The unit attaches and swings down measuring about 12 1/2 inches. I have 17 inches between the bottom of the cupboards and the counter, so it is a very comfortable set up. Additionally, the receptions is better for close up viewing if the screen is tipped up a bit, allowing for more clearance. Love the set!!!!DONALD M : When fully extended, the screen hangs 13" from the TOP of the base unit -- the only problem I had was I have a lip (overhang) on my cabinets and had to use "spacers" to make it possible for me to mount it to the bottom of my cabinet -- Don MorrisonANDREW R : The dimensions of this unit are 15" x 3.3" x 11".

Don't buy it!

Under kitchen cabinet Nothing good about it. I sent one back and got another after the DVD was eaten. Had the same experience with the second machine. Never again

Exactly the ticket

I had been looking for an undercounter TV for some time. Our kitchen counter space is limited and we like watching TV/listening to CDs/playing radio while we eat breakfast or at other times when we're in the kitchen. This product is the only one we were able to find and it is more than we could have hoped it would be. We've received a lot of compliments on it. The one negative is that, from certain angles, the picture is hazy -- composed of shadows, but that's not a big negative.

not a good quality tv

the picture is good. all the options in one unit is good. remote works good.. but the settings menu leaves the screen before you are done. the last channel button wont hold the last channel. unable to get closed caption . the clock speeds up 5 minutes a week. also, the indicators on the buttons rub off too quickly
