I bought this receiver and in less than 3 years it burned up. The whole time I had it there was poor connectivity. TV and Xbox were always cutting out. This thing is JUNK. It’s now at bestbuy seeing how much it will cost to fix because the warranty was only one year. You would think for $1000 receiver you would get a better warranty and these Denon would stand behind their product. I guess it’s what I get for not buying pioneer.

I had a Denon Amp for 11 years without a glitch. I sold it, still functional, to upgrade to 4K and HDMI products. The new unit worked for about a month, the speaker channels started to fail. I was able to return it and the store upgraded me to this x3200w for no extra cost. This unit has many bugs. Bluetooth hardly ever works, audio will just randomly go out. I have to power cycle the unit to get it back. Now only two years from purchase the audio has totally failed. No sound at all. Extremely disappointed in Denon for selling such poor quality for such a high price. I can't afford to purchase a new unit. I had splurged on these upgrades with my tax return. My rated reviews are from the unit when it works.

I'm on my 5th Marantz AV receiver, and since D&M makes both Denon and Marantz bought this 2 years ago. It got light service in the great room- maybe- a few hours a week. It's failed and is now in the shop. The trigger, used to power on a remote amp, failed. But more problematically, the unit stopped passing video randomly- either in standby or when powered on, about once a week. A processor reset didn't resolve the issues... only power cycling did. The unit also ran hot compared to a Yamaha A880 I just bought to replace this. Anyway- a failure in 2 years and at least 2 weeks in the shop made me switch to Yamaha...

I liked it at first, but then my zone2 start failing and I can't set it up anymore. Also, the bluetooth is not working anymore. I am very disappointed with that product after spending over $800 on it. It is my last dennon product I will ever have... :(

I held out for years with my Kenwood for 20 years and finally decided to splurge and get a Denon. I purchased the AVR-X3200W short of 2 years. After 6 months to a year my Bluetooth started failing and a couple months later the front USB port for IPod connections didn't work. I have since bought a new router and that did not help or improve the bluetooth connection. I do enjoy the rest of the upgrades from my old Kenwood but extremely disappointed in the reputation of Denon.

I have used nothing but Denon receivers for over 20 years. Their tech support has always been outstanding, often helping me solve problems with other things connected to my Denon receivers. But based on my more recent experience that has changed. My opinion is not based on one call but on numerous calls and emails over a 4 or 5 week period. I needed a receiver that would output an analog stereo signal to the Zone 2 preout coming from the same HDMI input playing in the main zone in surround. The input would be HDMI only, no additional audio connections. Because I had tried this with another Denon receiver and not been able to do it, I called Denon tech support to confirm that the AVR x3200w would. I was assured that the AVR x3200w would work and that it was the first one in the line that would. The AVR x2200w would not work. After setting the receiver up the only way that I could get a stereo signal from the Zone 2 preout was to select all zone stereo. In doing that you loose surround on the main speakers. After more calls to Denon than I can count and trying all the different settings they suggested, nothing worked. They then said that they were escalating the issue to Engineering and that I would hear something in a day or two. That has been over a week and after making several calls and emailing them I have heard nothing. So I have given up on Denon. I submitted a review to Denon but they did not post it on their site. That says a lot about how they are doing business today. Denon's claims concerning Zone 2 simply are not true. It makes me wonder what else is misrepresented in their specifications. This is the last Denon product that I will buy.
