DJI Ronin-SC Gimbal Stabilizer

I purchased this as a second gimbal to use with a Panasonic LUMIX G95, as it had the best reviews compared to the newer model DJI gimbals with that particular camera body. In spite of it being a bit clunky compared to the newer DJI gimbals, it works perfectly with the G95 with both a 25mm prime and 12-35mm zoom lens. The hard foam case it comes in is surprisingly quite solid, and is a great case to have in lieu of a hardshell Pelican case or equivalent. My only issue is that it while comes with the appropriate cables for Canon and Sony bodies, the cable for Panasonic cameras is sold separately and not the easiest to come by. I wish companies would show Panasonic more love!!

I had some difficulties getting the gimbal to sync, but I called Adorama and they got me the help I needed very quickly the gimbal has been working great for a year now. It is worth the investment to really improve vlogging for our YouTube channel.

This is my first gimbal, which required a bit of a learning curve. After getting the basics down, I feel like the quality of video I?m able to achieve has greatly improved. I?m using a Sony A7iii that is compact and light enough for this gimbal to easily maneuver.

I think this is the best gimbal in this price range. It offered so many features, I?ve still yet to use them all. The panorama is great if you?re a landscape photographer. Active track is very useful for shooting yourself or even to use as an automatic second camera. With just a few minor attachments, you can really customize this gimbal and turn it into a solid professional-looking rig

No complaints with this gimbal. It?s sturdy and has worked well for video on my Sony a6500. I?ve mounted a mic and the Rode wireless lav transmitter. Adding a lot of extras on camera does limit the movement of the gimbal, so it?s definitely better to get some extra handle attachments to mount items that don?t have to be on the camera.

This gimbal is great! It?s light and functions well. However had to return due to it not working well with my Canon R5 and my 24-70 RF Lens. Over all the gimbal seemed just a bit too small to accommodate this setup even though it should have been with in the weight requirements. I will most likely buy a bigger DJI gimbal instead.

Got it on sale at a great price. Works perfectly with my Panasonic Lumix DC-FZ80. Gimbal maintains while zooming in & out. I was able to adjust pan & tilt in app to go really slow or speed up. Use camera & gimbal for bird photography. Would post video but my videos are not on YoutTube! Included stills. The Red-tailed Hawk flew short distances around a busy street and on a marine construction company with numerous cranes for about 45 minutes. Acted like he owned the place!

A heavier wide angle zoom, which is most wide angles, make it hard to use this gimbal to its fulll capacity.

This is my first gimbal I have used. It seems pretty intuitive so far, and balancing the camera isn?t that hard. For its size and price it?s a really great option when you are looking to get into high quality video production. The case is also really beefy, and worth it for traveling around. My dog ate one of the foam pieces but it still works great without that one ??

The DJI Ronin-SC Gimbal is one of the best additions to my equipment box in a long time. I have coupled it with my Canon EOS M6 MkII and my Sigma 16mm F1.4 lens, and the results are staggering. Absolutely fluid smooth videos even when walking over difficult terrain or from car shots, this Gimbal only continues to impress. I found it very intuitive to setup and balance, and the manual focus feature is a very handy asset. Even though it is on the heavier side, the extended handle certainly compensates for that. I had previously been using a GoPro on a karma grip gimbal and been impressed with the smooth videos, but i felt always severely limited by the GoPro optics, but now I can get even smoother videos complete with stunning 4K video through the amazing Sigma lens and Canon combination. Very highly recomended.

I'm digging it so far after having it for a couple of weeks. I'd say the hardest part is balancing it on your first use. I marked the camera plate at the bottom to ensure the plate screw is at the exact location every time as I'm pretty much using the same camera/lens convo every time. I'm using the Ronin-SC with a Nikon Z50 and a 16-50mm "pancake" lens as it is a much lighter setup as compared to the old setup I was using which was the Zhiyun Crane 2, alternating between the Nikon D800 and the D500 bodies. I've only used for small periods of time but my arms can already tell the difference. I'm happy with the Ronin-SC so far.

Nice sturdy piece of equipment but does lack a few qualities. Balancing is a challenge esp if you take it apart and then reattach. Pretty cool gear and takes practice using. More tutorials would have been greatly beneficial to have. Looking forward to becoming really good with it.
