CYRIL B : Is anyone having trouble getting the manual release to work with the A7iii? Mine just beeps but does not release the shutterLESLIE C : In addition to my last note, I also had a similar issue with conflicting setting within the intervalometer. It’s all operator errors. Who wants to read the manual so I just use the INTVL for time between shots and N for number of shots. When you set on N and press down twice you get the max number. I let the camera manage the seconds of exposure. Delay is the time to the first shot. Also turn off focus with shutter or the camer will refocus on each shot. Good luck.LESLIE C : I just verified it. If you have a delay (2, 5, 10 seconds) set in the drive mode that is longer than the interval that is what you will get. I just stay in single shot mode and let the intervalometer do all the work. Mark Galer on YouTube has the best video on settings for the A73 hands down.

Easy to use.

It was just what I was looking for. Works well with my Sony a6300. It took some searching but I finally found the camera setting for remote operation. With that setting the intervalometer can control everything. I've only done a quick test so far but hoping to do a time lapse of the lunar eclipse.

Dotline DL-1593 enables Intervalometer control on Sony cameras equipped with a Multi-Terminal (S2) port. You can set timer delays, exposure times and intervals up to 99+ hours in increments as short as 1 second. Exposure settings include support for continuous shooting (1 to 399 continuous shots or set for unlimited), self-timer, long exposure times (up to 99 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds) as well as interval shooting. Operates on 2 AA batteries (included).
