MARIANNE S : Is Light Room compatible with Elements 12?MILTON M : Adorama sent me a 32 bit by mistake and, since it was by downloading, they refuse to correct the mistake and send a 64 bit as advertised. I have never opened it. I Have not done business with them since.JUAN D : Hi Marianne! I use Adobe Lightroom 5 regularly; but I am not familiar with Elements 12. I also use the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. I therefore very often do my initial editing in LR5 and move the file to Photoshop CC to finish the photo (only when I need special processes like perspective warp, shake filter or Sky replacement etc). Therefore I think the same should be possible in Elements 12. I am not sure what you use Elements 12 for. LR5 is very powerful and these days many photographers do not need anything else. It takes a little getting used to, though. Many instruction videos are available in YouTube and help shorten the learning curve. I would recommend LR5 without any hesitation. Cheers!STANFORD R : Yes it is.
Peter B : What are the restrictions that apply to the downloaded version? The description says "Some restrictions apply"MARIO H : You may install on up to 2 computers. You can't re-sell it, distribute it, share it, etc.ANDREW R : The manufacturer does not expressly specify.
JEREMY Q : Will I be able to download this product to my desktop and my laptop?RON R : Sure, but you actually only need to download the file once. Thereafter, you can copy it to as many places as you want for backup. Adobe allows you to install the program only on two computers however.MINH V : Yes, you can run the same code of several machines.

Excellent Program

I import all my raw files into Lightroom and get them to the client in record time. Love the healing tool! I don't have to use Photoshop as much anymore!

excellent!

It's my first time to use Adobe Lightroom,I always use Photoshop(i love photoshop though). So, when I tried this, I can't believe how easy you can edit your photos. It's very well done. Over-all very useful and user friendly.

Great editing program!

I am a semi-professional photographer, andI typically don't want to change much in my photos. I like to adjust lighting, white balance, add vignettes, and do basic editing, so I was looking for a simpler program than Photoshop that would make my editing faster and more efficient. I love Lightroom - it does what I want and definitely made editing photos much more efficient.

Top line photo software

I am a serious hobby photographer working on becoming professional. I have used a number of photo processing software programs, including Photoshop CS. I having used Lightroom for several years, I beta tested LR5 and find that the features and additions make this the perfect software for managing libraries and now post processing to a professional level.
