Works Great For Live Streaming From My DSLR!

I did my first live stream at a wedding last weekend using this with my Sony a7 iii. It went very well, and worked flawlessly! I didn?t use the software that came with it, I just streamed straight to YouTube live. I had to purchase a USB-A to USB-C adapter and an HDMI to micro HDMI to connect everything to my MacBook Pro but it worked great! Super happy!

Good video fidelity, reliable operation.

I have been pleased with this video capture device as it's plug and play in Windows and MacOS (no need to install drivers, UVC compliant) and the image quality is good at up to 4k30p. My usage has been to make mirrorless cameras available for live streaming and recording and it has always worked as expected. Other cheaper capture cards I've tried seem to alter the colors, whereas this one seems quite faithful to the color science in the camera, as far as I can tell without doing measurements.

simple solution to get a fancy webcam

works great so far. easy to use and setup, the USB extension cable is very useful. camera gets recognized instantly by apps as a webcam. it just seems a little pricey for what it does.

Worked perfectly straight out of the box! Unlike the El Gato HD60, which was a nightmare just trying to get it to work, even with technical support...which then it only worked for 2mins. If you want a simple, easy plug-and-play video capture card for streaming/zoom calls, the cam link is perfect!!

Plug n Play simple for pro looking Zoom meetings

I couldn't get it to work consistently using a Thunderbolt 3 to HDMI converter on a 15" 2018 MacBook Pro, but it works like a charm with a PC laptop. I'm connecting an inexpensive Limux G7 with a micro USB converter. It's plug & play simple and with an 1.2 aperture lens it looks so much more professional than a webcam. Great for Zoom meetings.

Great device. Easy setup.

We bought this to stream a church service along with Canon VIXIA HF R700 camcorder that has a clean HDMI output option. This just worked and we had it setup and going in less than 15 minutes. Since were just streaming to Zoom, I can't speak to using this for 4K capture, but for our purposes, needing a reliable plug and play option, this was perfect.
