I spent a good couple of hours sandpapering it to make it fit. I couldn't get it to lock otherwise. It was a pain, but it works. It was probably just my copy, but you have been warned.

Moving from Elinchrom to Bowens mount lights was was easy with these. It only took 5 minutes to swap the speedring and I was good to go. The metal mount fits perfectly the new lights.

This really is the only speeding to adapt dedicated Elinchrom Portalite Softboxes to the Quadra heads, but it is strong and light weight. I personally would prefer metal, but this is made of a robust type of plastic, that seems more than adequate for the small Portalite's.
