Albert Hammond Jr. himself chose a 1985 reissue of a '72 Strat to create the unforgettable guitar tracks for The Strokes and his solo work, including the critically acclaimed album, Francis Trouble. This Stratocaster pays homage to that choice, featuring Hammond's customized pickups switching. The unique configuration activates the neck and bridge pickups together in position four, while positions one and three deviate from the traditional layout.

The large '70s-style headstock proudly displays Hammond's signature, complemented by other '70s-inspired features such as the bullet truss rod nut, 3-bolt "F"-stamped neck plate with Micro-Tilt adjustment, and a '70s-era logo.

Designed for the authentic Fender tone, the ceramic single-coil Stratocaster pickups are custom-crafted to match Hammond's bold, visceral playing style. The traditional master volume and two tone controls are conveniently placed for the neck and middle pickups. The vintage-style 6-saddle synchronized tremolo bridge ensures pitch-perfect tuning.

The "Modern C"-shaped maple neck is adorned with a vintage-style 7.25"-radius rosewood fingerboard, housing 21 medium-jumbo frets.
