This is truly a beautiful peel apart film. Its loss is really a sad thing, but there are still some stocks if you look for it. Last batch I found was 30 bucks/pack. Lucky one. 50 is more common. It is a beautiful b&w instant film, nice size and I love the even borders, compared to Instax wide (there is no b&w of that, though). Lovely tones. No need to treat the negatives in the way like you have to recover those from FP100C. Some negatives work better to scan than others. Some have a solarised look, as Craig did mention.

The shadows block out pretty quickly, but that's what makes the film so sexy. Don't expect too much shadow detail though. I was expecting it to be grainy, but it's definitely not - practically no grain for a 3200ISO film. Not quite as sharp as the 100ISO colour though. The negatives can't be reclaimed as easily as the colour version, but you can scan the back to get a bizarre solarized-looking photo. See the attachment.

What a tragedy!
