Questions & Answers

susan p : Hello. I know these come with 10 prints each, but is this "pack of 10" referring to one box of ten prints or ten packs (boxes) of ten prints each meaning 50 prints?ROBERT A F : It's ten shots per box, running about $5 a shot. The 4x5 film has not been in production for over a year and the price here is double what it was. The last run of 3 1/4 x 41/4 black and white was a few months ago. The only type that is still in production is the 100 speed color (for the moment). I'm not allowed to include my site link but fee free to Google and email me. If you have an ongoing project, I suggest finding an alternative means, such as 4x5 film, instant positive paper, wet-plate, etc. RA FriedmanCHRISTINA P : Hey there - this "pack of 10" is referring to one box of 10 sheets of film. Another indication that it's 10 sheets is the price. If it were 10 boxes of 10, it would be much more expensive. I've used this film in the past - it's great.ANTHONY J : 10 printsMATHEW W : This is one box is ten Polaroid photographs. You can tell by the dollar amount. One will normally pay around $50 for 10 Black and White Polaroid instant images. If you have any questions on the look/feel and best uses for this film let me know..DARRELL M : Susan P, Each individual pack of Fuji instant film contains ten exposures.RON A : One box of 10 printsJOHN B : It's on pack of ten prints. If you could get 100 shots for $50 it would be pretty amazing.JOHN C : The product has ten (10) prints. :-)VINCENT D : Nope. This is one box, 10 prints.JACK B : 10 individual shots (or prints)
C ANDREW B : Does this item fit in Fuji PA-45 and/or Fuji B45 film pack holders? Thanks, AndyARTHUR K : I use a Fuji PA-45, and I am not familar with the other one. Sorry, I don't know if it works.KAREN K : Yes it will. I have used it with the PA-45 before, but I am not sure about the B45.AEFHJ Z : Yes, it can work with PA-45.STEPHEN F : Yes, it is compatable.ROBIN C : It fits a PA-45. Don't know about the other holder. Enjoy. I haven't used my black and white pack yet but do enjoy the FP110C for test shots prior to shooting a 4x5 black and white negative (alson 100 ASA). My buddy has shot the 3200 B&W. For lower light he like it but runs out of shutter speed in bright light. T. C.MATTHEW J : It looks like the Pa-45 will, notice it says "Pack film". I made the mistake of thinking this film was the single sheets, I'm not sure why they list the polaroid 550, I think there were subtle enough differences that tabs would get stuck or something, so the fuji one might even better. So the PA-45 should work, Search you tube for "fuji Pa-45" and there is a video of someone loading the color version of this film into the Pa-45. Hope this helps.EERO T : Hi Andy, This film and FP-100C45 color film fit in Fuji PA-45 holders (still available new) or in used Polaroid 550 pack film holders. I don't think B45 is an official holder name/model. People use B45 as a short version of the full name FP-3000B45 and C45 for the color film. So to recap: PA-45 holder works for both B45 and C45 films, but you can also use an older Polaroid 550 holder. Best regards, EeroJAN H : hi ,andy, it definitely works with fuji PA-45 , i don't know about the other one. i enjoy using it best janPAUL P : Fits FP-45 This box would not let me include a link to the fuji data sheet but go to fugi's website and look under products/instant products and get the pdf data sheet for the FB-3000B film OR just google the film for the linkMARK T : PA45SURESH S : The PA-45 works.

What a tragedy!

This is truly a beautiful peel apart film. Its loss is really a sad thing, but there are still some stocks if you look for it. Last batch I found was 30 bucks/pack. Lucky one. 50 is more common. It is a beautiful b&w instant film, nice size and I love the even borders, compared to Instax wide (there is no b&w of that, though). Lovely tones. No need to treat the negatives in the way like you have to recover those from FP100C. Some negatives work better to scan than others. Some have a solarised look, as Craig did mention.

temperamental loading.. but worth it

The shadows block out pretty quickly, but that's what makes the film so sexy. Don't expect too much shadow detail though. I was expecting it to be grainy, but it's definitely not - practically no grain for a 3200ISO film. Not quite as sharp as the 100ISO colour though. The negatives can't be reclaimed as easily as the colour version, but you can scan the back to get a bizarre solarized-looking photo. See the attachment.
