I have Interfit 500W strobes with Bowens mount and this snoot was way to small and did not fit. It has like 3 hook L mount slots. It is metal and comes with gris. It will NOT fit Bowens-type mounts or professional Interfit strobes. If you have a mount like this the snoot would be fine.

Over all, this is a good product if the quality of cellophane sheets was enhanced (2 of mine was folded very bad) We could enforce the cellophane pieces by laminate them and should have 2 blue colors: light blue to use for neutralizing the tungsten light, and dark blue to add color.

This product is a have to have for hairlighting or spot lighting. With the accessory gel filter holder it becomes a necessary part of flash lighting.

Snoots, Barndoors, Grids, and Filters are essential accessories for any lighting system. These devices alter the shape, intensity, or color of the light output from your flash heads. Consider them as a painter would a brush, or a sculptor would a knife, or chisel.
Use of a snoot will result in a small circle of light, when it is attached to the front of your light source. The size of the circle of light will be determined by the opening of the snoot, its length, and the distance of the subject.
The versatile snoot can be used in portraiture as a hair light, to accent a portion of a background or even as a back light. In still life photography, it can be used to highlight small items and create dramatic shadow to highlight ratios.
