I own the Rapid 600 II and don't have any complaints.
Fantastic Strobe
It is definitely an amazing strobe. Because it is cord and plug, I primarily use it as a hair light (I can leave it in place, and don?t have to mess around with the C-stand.) It has an amazing flash duration, perfect for freezing motion. The refresh is fast and reliable. I haven?t missed a shot yet. I highly recommend.

The Rapid 400 II is a champion in recycling, boasting a lightning-fast 0.9-second full-power charge at a guide number of 213ft / 65m. It features built-in R2 wireless remote radio integration, allowing seamless interface with all R2 family products. The Rapid 400 II is not just about power and speed. It offers professional features that never fail, including a full menu of power, mode, flash duration, sync, channel, group, and custom features. These are all clearly displayed on the rear graphical LCD panel, ensuring easy navigation and control.
The monolight also offers precise color temperature stabilization and an incredible rapid-fire Multiflash feature. In Multiflash Mode, the stroboscopic frequency can reach up to 99 flashes per second. The High-Speed Flash Mode offers a controllable flash duration that can freeze action at 1/29600s, or provide a rich tonal range with a 'slow' duration at 1/670s.
Compact yet durable, the Rapid 400 II is equipped with advanced functions such as Flash Curtain Delay selection, Optical Receiver modes, Receiver Sequence Detection, Audible recycle notification, and Modeling Lamp modes. It also features a time-saving MASK Function for creating layers in post-production composition.
