These do the job (works on boht my Panasonic and Olympus cameras). The problem is the door no longer stays closed, so it will fall off an the batteries will fall out. So eventually you will need to tape the door closed. Never dropped it, just the little retaining tabs on the dorr broke off from regular use. Sooo... Godox / Flashpoint stuff is pretty good, just be sure to bring a roll of tape with you wherever you go.

Really like this version of the Godox triggers. In my opinion, they?re the easiest to use. As a bonus, although I?m a Canon user, I grabbed one of the Fuji versions at a nice discount. Obviously it won?t do ttl, but it still fires all my godox gear on manual from the hotshoe, which is what I use all the time anyway.

I actually use this with my sony flash made by flashpoint. It works great and now my flash is more versatile! I still use m43 along side with my full frame.

I like this mostly because its TTL and its interface. My problem with the Godox/Flashpoint system is the buttons can change depending on what you are doing and where you are at. Its called hard and soft buttons. A soft button can change its function a hard button is fixed always does the same thing. So this remote has a lot of hard buttons. Which simplifiys the operating system. its much easier for me to control a flash via the r2pro than it is to use another flash. When using a flash you have to toggle to see the remote flashes but with the R2pro there are buttons for 5 letter groups. I havent gone beyond 3 groups but the unit is much more powerful. I have used Flashpoint flashes for my Fuji camera triggering them with my R@Pro O on my Panasonic so it improves the compatibility of my equipment. With multiple flash manual is easier than dialing in exposure compensation and using TTL. I also combine this with r2 single pin manual tranceivers. I wanted to trip my camera with flash on it remotely using the r2SP transceivers, had no luck as the half press tripped the flash. Solution was to let the camera mounted R2 pro O trip the remote zoom LionXR2 flash and a separate r2SP set to receiver and connected to the Panny G9's remote with a cable and controled by another R2SP set as a transmitter as a remote shutter button. I am not doing long exposures so that might be difficult as the R2SP do no have a shutter lock. So I had remote flash, remote camera shutter release with only one cord. I put the r2SP on a flash bar along with the Zoom lion XR2. but the flash could have been anywhere up to 150 or 300 meters depending on how you interpret the manual but I have not tested any of it for range. I am quite thrilled to buy into this sophisticated wireless or optical slave flash and remote camera system for a bargain price. One thing that I noticed is the locking ring brings down a pin when tightened so the r2 pro might seem loose with the locking ring just loosened, well its still holding the pin down which will scrape across all that is in its way while you might be thinking why wont this come off its loose! So full loosey action on the lock ring when removing. It does not seem to like my Imedion rechargable batteries and fresh out the charger show less than full. That does show the accuracy of its monitor as the recommended alkaline are 1.5 v and rechargeable is less. Its battery consumption does to me seem OK, but I always have a lot of batteries with me just in case.

I bought this product for use on my Olympus OMD EM1 Mk II and Panasonic GX9 cameras. It worked fine with no issues on the Olympus camera. However, it wouldn't work at first on the Panasonic camera until I learned that it takes a little extra push to get the transmitter fully into the hotshoe. Once I did that, everything worked great. The tight fitting seems to be an issue with many, if not all, Panasonic cameras.

Everything is very cool! Only the device needs batteries to operate, not rechargeable batteries. The batteries have a voltage of 1.2-1.25 volts. It is not enough for work. The battery has a power supply of 1.5 volts.

This is an Excellent Transmitter. It worked perfectly with my OM-D E-M1 Mark III Olympus Camera and my EXPLOR 600 Pro Flashpoint Monolights! HSS Sync worked perfect! Can't recommend the Flashpoint R2 Pro 2.4GHz Trasnmitter high enough! Great Product at a Wonderful Price!

This is a beautiful little gizmo that allows me to take photography up to the next level. I've been an available-light photographer for decades because I so dislike the harsh light from camera-mounted flashes. This master allows me to easily place the Flashpoint slave speedlight anywhere around the shoot and add meaningful light to many scenes. It's a game changer for this enthusiast.

I had purchased a Zoom Li-Ion R2 flash for Olympus/Panasonic (used) that came with this Flashpoint R2 Pro 2.4GHz Transmitter for Panasonic & Olympus (XPro-O) (also used) and was so impressed with it's ease of use and seeming reliabity I ordered this one to have a backup in the bag. Probably not needed in this role but I think the R2 system with this transmitter is about the easiest and likely most reliable on the market right now. I also recently added the Flashpoint R2 with TTL flash (older model that takes AA's) which Adorama put on sale at a very attractive price.

I've owned all 3 of the most recent Flashpoint professional triggers, and this is a nice improvement. It's more user-friendly and intuitive...and you can actually run it right out of the box without a manual. I have the Evolv 600, Evolv 200, R2 Speedlight, and Mini R2 Speedlight and all work flawlessly with this trigger. Lots of great products available...but the Flashpoint line is the best "all-around value" in the industry...and probably the most diverse, flexible and complete.

Love it! Works great with my EM5 Mark II and the AD200. I also purchased a bridge receiver for my 360, so it could play as well.

I'm a little late to the R2/X1 party, so trying to remember all of the various functions that had been added over various firmware updates to the older style R2 transmitter was a little overwhelming and frustrating. Press and hold this, double tap that, etc. With this, I now have dedicated buttons for most of that stuff, like modeling lights and such that were "hidden" features of the older transmitter. The layout is similar to Canon's RT system, which I have experience with, so I find this type of transmitter much easier to use. The new TCM seems like it'll be great for quickly finding the correct exposure and locking it in, but I admit I have only played with that briefly. The larger screen is quicker and easier, and I'm very happy with my purchase. I look forward to not having to "guess" and try a few different buttons anymore when trying to do one of the hidden functions of the previous R2. Highly recommended.

I bought this to supplement a Godox X1T-O that will now be my backup in case something happens with the R2 Pro / XPro-O. The user interface is a big improvement over the R2 / X1T, although it's not perfect: the physical buttons for the groups don't line up with the on-screen labels, and the readability of the LCD doesn't measure up to OLED displays and high-end units like Profoto. But for the money, it's an absolute bargain. I've tested this with my two eVolv 200 / AD200, R2 TTL / V860II, and XPLOR 600 Pro / AD600 Pro flashes, and haven't had any trouble triggering them. TTL has given me excellent exposure in virtually all cases (the only trouble has been when a highly reflective white object was in an otherwise dark frame, a tough scenario and more a limitation of TTL than anything), and HSS has worked well, too. TCM (TTL Convert to Manual) which is new on the R2 Pro / XPro is very useful, though getting out of manual mode and back to TTL is needlessly complicated. I usually shoot with three groups, and getting back to TTL for all three groups requires too many button presses. The only issue I've run into is that the red focus assist grid projected by the R2 Pro / XPro is visible in the images taken by my camera when the shutter speed is slower than 1/100. I can see the projector turn off, but the timing seems to be off. For some reason at 1/100 and faster that's no longer a problem. I highly recommend the Flashpoint R2 / Godox X system and the R2 Pro / XPro to Olympus shooters who need a reliable, inexpensive off-camera flash system.

Make your photography sessions more efficient and creative with the Flashpoint R2 Pro O wireless flash trigger. This device is a dedicated light master for the R2 Family of Flash, offering absolute command for Panasonic and Olympus cameras to control all Flashpoint R2 wireless system devices.
Designed specifically for R2 Panasonic and Olympus photographers, this wireless flash trigger provides unparalleled flexibility and control over multiflash strobist setups, right from your DSLR. It features a large, brilliant backlit dot matrix LCD screen that simultaneously displays all 5 groups, with direct access buttons for quick adjustments.
The on-camera transmitter empowers photographers to direct the entire R2 Family, including Zoom and Streaklight speedlights, Lithium battery powered eVOLV strobes, XPLOR monolights, and AC Rapid studio monolights. This device is packed with innovative features that make the art of photography more intuitive and natural.

The R2 Pro O also offers extended multiple Group triggering, selective transmission of exposure values, exceptionally stable signal broadcast, and direct Group access. You can even tweak the remote flash coverage of Zoom speedlights right from the transmitter.
Compact and lightweight, these units offer an incredible range, integrated functions, and features that make them the first choice of professional photographers. The 2.4GHz R2 Radio Remote System trigger sits atop a Panasonic and Olympus body and works seamlessly with the complete family of Flashpoint Speedlights, Monolights, and Strobe lights with R2 TTL radio transceiver built right in.
Choose the R2 Pro O for your photography needs and experience the difference in your wireless remote control capabilities. It's the natural choice for leading the Family of R2 Wireless Remote.
