Waste of money I bought the backpack on Monday and after 1 wash backpack became so stiff and color start fading . Now it looks horrible

Abrasive straps will destroy your clothes. Not for use as a women's day bag or purse alternative. Should only be worn over coats.

Ok, here is the deal. I bought the ox red 15-inch laptop Kanken for travel. I love it. Then I bought the frost green classic Kanken for work and the peachy pink mini for an everyday purse. To say that I am obsessed is an understatement. I love all of the backpacks, and the mini is no exception. I carry bags based on mood. The peachy pink color is an adorable, fun color for any age. I am a 63-year-old baby boomer who still works and goes to school, so I stay busy loving life. I forgot to mention that I bought the assorted Fjallraven pouches to fill up my backpack. I have the old version of the pencil case, the gear pocket, and the gear bag to organize all my things. I do recommend all of their backpacks.

Mini Kanken (Peachy Pink)

I got gifted this from a friend for my birthday and I have had it for a while now. It is the best backpack that I have. I also have the bigger version of this and I love how comfortable they are to carry around. I love these backpacks so much.

Great backpack

Perfect everyday 'purse ' and will fit a rolled up raincoat in addition to my items.

Finally found my go to bag

I bought this as a Christmas gift for myself. I was SO excited as I know others that have this bag so I knew the quality. I absolutely LOVE the bag but HATE the straps. I'm 5'4" and wear an XL and feel like I'm wearing a 4 year olds backpack with how short the straps are and how high the bag sits on my back. I will be returning the bag unfortunately strictly due to the short straps. Bummer. Really love the sky blue color. Wish it just had a tad bit longer straps.

Cute & functional

I've had it for a few years and take it everywhere with me. It holds up really well and mostly, I'm fond of the memories and especially how I can pack it to the brim, knowing well that the zippers won't come undone or that I'll rip a seam.

I've stuffed a whole hooded puffer jacket and merch into it at a concert venue when I didn't want to leave my bag at the coat reception. It just holds SO much for its size.

Holds up

Bought the grey fog/striped over 2 years ago as a small trip bag and ended up using it everyday as my go to bag/purse and have taken it on many trips and adventures. The things I love most about this bag is that it holds a lot more for its size than it looks! I can fit my 40oz hydro flask, books, wallet/passport, keys, phone, makeup bag, sunglasses, lotion/sunscreens and even a small travel towel for the beach or a small sweater or cardigan.
The other thing I love most about it is that it is extremely durable I'm rough with it and toss it around and it's still holding up. I have also walked/hiked in rain for long periods and have had no issues with the bag leaking inside! Last but not least is it is comfortable to wear even with a full pack it has never caused me any pain or body aches from long all day wear! The only thing I would mention is that after a few years the light grey color has dulled/stained and now looks dirty even when it's washed. Not really an issue seeing that that's only due to natural wear but next time I go to replace it I believe getting a darker color will help the bag stay looking nicer even longer. (Something to think about if you want a certain color but want the bag to stay nice looking over time)

My Favorite Everyday Bag!

I rarely write reviews, but this deserves a exception. I have really appreciated this backpack. The mini is exactly what i needed for day to day and the spontaneous hiking trips! I can pack it to the hilt or just the bare essentials and its neither to bulky or to small. I was debating on whether to go with the slightly larger one but I'm completely satisfied with the mini. It was a worthy purchase, I sincerely hope other buyers can experience many happy adventures with this backpacking companion. :) ;)

Quality Bag

This bag is perfect size. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the color. I ordered Black Ox Red and when I received the bag it already looked weathered. Everywhere there was a crease or wrinkle from being flattened for shipping, it looked dirty or weathered(like a waxed canvas material look). It wasn't the look I was wanting for my bag before I had even used it so I am in the process of returning it and maybe trying out a different color, maybe something lighter that wouldn't show that as much. Other than that I think it will a perfect day bag!

Perfect mini bag

I purchased my first kanken mini backpack it's crazy how much you can fit into it and it being a mini I got the black with ox red handles I like the size I don't need a big bag even though I do have a laptop my I also have an iPad 9.7 which fits in the bag perfectly with a notebook and my wallet and still have room made well love carrying it my the top handles love the storage and everything else it's perfect bag to go anywhere with.

Love this bag

I bought this backpack in Frost green- peach pink for my sister because the colors appeared much lighter in the photos, when I received the backpack I was disappointed because it was a bright neon pink and the green was much brighter than I had thought, everything else was fine.

COLOR IS NOT TRUE TO PHOTO

Excitedly bought my first Kanken Mini wnd highly regret it. I have a lot of trouble with the fit. I'm of average build and found it way too tight and stiff, straps nowhere near long enough after fully lengthening them. 

I thought maybe I received a faulty bag or something but after emailing customer support, all I got were quippy answers and absolutely zero help (thanks for nothing, Paula Bishop). 

Will never buy anything Fjallraven again. There's plenty of brands that look and perform WAY better within and below this price range.

Poor, awkward fit. Zero customer support.

I'm so disappointed. I was so looking forward to using this backpack. I got it when it was on sale in March and I've just now gotten around to switching backpacks to use this one. But my straps look nothing like the photo, nor do they look like any of the "how to adjust the straps" videos I've watched. I wish I could post a photo.. but since I can't, just use your imagination please while I attempt to explain: the buttons are at the bottom - like the photos - but I don't have the additonal wrap-around strap that would allow for adjustment that is located near the button. I'm referring to the fold over type contraption thing.

I think mine is faulty

I love the Kanken mini so much! I have 2 and I love to use them as a purse substitutes. Perfect for running errands or a day out in the town!

Perfect Day bag

I'm loving the backpack, yet my only problem was trying to figure out how to initially adjust the straps. Other than that it's a great purchase.

this backpack is a perfect size to use as a purse, has a front compartment and the main inside compartment that has a pocket as well! the bag is super cute and adjustable! i love it!

My mom gave my this backpack for Christmas and I use it as a purse. It Is much more spacious than I thought it would be in all of my stuff fits with leftover room. I plan on getting a normal sized backpack in the spring as a graduation gift. And I plan to tell all of my friends about it I love my backpack!

I LOVE MY BACKPACK!

Although the backpack is small, it is sturdy and can hold quite a bit. Love the color options. The straps were easy to adjust. While the Kanken backpacks are definitely trendy right now, they're also a classic staple that won't go out of style.

Wonderful quality item-Kanken Mini Backpack

The size is exactly what I needed to use this as purse/discrete backpack instead of my previous large backpack that seems to be more suited for hiking than daily use. Also the color is beautifully rich and vibrant in person!

Exceeded my expectations

I purchased a backpack and wasn't happy with the size. I was able to very easily return and repurchase a size up and was grateful for the simplicity. The bag itself is high quality, great looking, durable, and exactly as advertised. Couldn't be häppier!

Ämazing

The backpack is adorable and perfect for what I needed for my daughter, however I had to return it because the color wasn't what I had anticipated based on the online photos. It appeared to be a very soft yellow and arrived school bus gold. Still deciding on which alternate color to try, but loved the backpack and design and will return!
