Gon Bops Berimbau Caxixi

The latest addition to Gon Bops' Caxixi line is the Berimbau Caxixi (PSHCXB). 100% handcrafted in Brazil from sustainable natural materials, this new model is filled with the red seeds of the Brazil tree, making a slightly brighter and higher-pitched tone than our mini Caxixi (PSHCX1), which is roughly the same size. The combination of the red seeds striking the hard gourd-skin base produces a sharp, high-pitched tone, contrasting with the softer, deeper pitch when the seeds strike the woven body. The shape of the handle is designed to be easily held in hand when playing the Berimbau, a traditional Brazilian wooden musical bow.
