Excellent build and quality. Super lightweight alloy so easy to add to any lighting kit bag. Fits really securely, I used to use duct tape to hold this piece on my old set in place, this one clicks and reduces the times I have to carry any tape along with me! Seems to take wear really well, optimistic of its lifecycle.

Does what it should but could be a bit better. I have the older Flashpoint monolights that take the 4-flange bayonette mounting. Unfortunately, the Godxox light boxes, although a great deal, come standard with Bowen speedrings. It would have been great to be able to buy just the insert to convert them to Flashpoint mount, but, alas, I could not find any. The second best choice was to buy the Flashpoint speedrings themselves. Fortunately, Adorama had them for $ I ordered the three I needed and they worked fine. However, the "fit and finish" was not as nice as the Godox ones that came with their lightboxes. The Godox ones were nice and smooth, and had four thumbscrews, unlike the Flashpoint one that had only one along with three phillips head screws. The Godox ones had 10 numbered holes along the perimeter while the Flashpoint ones had only eight unmarked ones, unlike the description which says they have 10.

This is a very good speed ring to help with using your softboxes. It has helped me a lot, and I would recommend it.

Not much to say. If you're using the Flashpoint Monolights, and you want to connect a modifier, they make it easy enough. Inexpensive enough to keep a few spares around, so you don't ever have to swap them out.

The rings arre good quality and fit both the rods as they are supposed to though a little patience is required, and fit nicely on the monolight with a set screw to hold it in position.

I recently reviewed the FP 620M monolights that I got with the ring, and gave them 5 stars. As for this product, they're just speed rings. It's hard to get excited about what is really just a bracket. But Adorama asked me to rate the rings as well, so here I am being a good sport. They really are perfectly functional and at a fraction of the price of equivalent products. Overall, I'm really impressed with the Flashpoint line of products. You'll need these rings if you go with some of the Flashpoint strobes. As an emerging professional photographer, I really need gear that's both affordable and professional grade. This line is it.

Hard to get the metal rods in correct holes, but with patience it can be done. Quite rigid when completed.
