Sturdy and well made. The background reflector came in handy shortly after purchasing. The clips on top and bottom of the oval are very handy for holding gels and a diffuser. I recommend this product.

First, let me say that I love Glow products! I have many of their modifiers. This reflector works very well...but, during the manufacture of this item they ground the outside sheet metal casing like a hypodermic needle. The edges are, literally, razor sharp. I reached into a box for it and I opened a cut on my thumb in the studio last Friday that took stitches to close. I took the reflector home and ground off the edges to avoid issues in the future. It is dangerous if not modified.

I have three. Two I bought years ago and were great. Easy to swap out speed rings to fit on any kind of light. My most recent purchase however the hardware has been updated and makes it nearly impossible to change the mount type without a lot of serious work. Very unfortunate change.

It's nice it has clips to put gels over it! Bowens mount so works with all that and I think you can even change that with an adapter if you don't have Bowens mount lights/mounts. Besides backdrops, you could use it to make a pool of light for tabletop or a "spot light" effect to some degree.

It allows light to be cast on the background without hitting the subject but in my experience it doesn't work perfectly. That might be my fault.

Looks like a well-made product, but I wanted to use it in a portable studio set up. I decided it was too big for me to be lugging in my bag and returned it. If I had a studio I would’ve kept it.

I bought this reflector to replace two lights on a high key background though not as effective as two light it's OK with 1/2 stop fall off with a 5ft background at 30 inches away. Yes, I would recommend this product.

Tis reflector is a very useful modifier to have in the studio. Gives some flexible and creative lighting options, particularly with colored gels. If it were to be improved, the gel clamps need to be more snug to the gel (can slip out), and also pack of gels with the same dimensions should be readily available. However, by using the 12x12 square filters placed on the reflector in a diamond shape, one can just about get them to cover the whole reflector circumference.
