The Glow 70" Grand Para Box Pro is the ideal shape for the transmission of light, over short or long distances; the parabola. The energy output of a monolight is optimized from the special parabolic bowl reflector design. All of the light that yourhigh watt second flash produces pours out of the 70" round softbox, surrounding your subject with a wrap of rich, even light, full of detail and realistic tactile quality, unique to this modifier design form factor.

There is exceptional light efficiency in this design, and the flattering results reveal human form with grace and warmth, lending strength to this softbox for typical full-length fashion, portrait, and beauty photography. Light spread is exceptionally even, pleasing and contrasts balanced. The optional primary member of the Para Box system is the Glow Zoom-In Bounce Rod. The rod's length is adjustable to allow control of the position of the light source inside the Para Box, to use it as a focusable reflector softbox, producing a precisely concentrated beam, positioned to create a broad spread of light or any effect in between. The rod system plate replaces the 144mm mount adapter ring on the small rear opening of the Para Box. The mount adapter moves to the flashhead cage, to act as the mate for the monolight or strobe head. By sliding the rod along the axis through the Para Box, a range of user-controlled lighting possibilities result, with a perfect modification provided by the focus of illumination. Sharply focused light is harder, with defined shadows, more highlights, and with higher contrast. Unfocused light is softer, has a broader wash of spread, much softer contrast and shadows. The 144mm adapter rings work with a variety of strobe brands, to work with almost any existing flash using the appropriate adapter.

In essence, mastering the light is no accident. This one modifier can serve as the main light, as an excellent reflector, imitate a large beauty dish, or by adding the outer diffuser shield, you can change the overall wash of sharper light to a less harsh attitude. Independently, the inner diffuser avoids hotspots while maintaining the 'pop' of the silvered rim of material extending beyond its position. The use of both outer and inner double diffusion material combine to go even farther to produce very soft light, thereby creating three levels of contrast, sharpness, and dimension.
