Good design, poor build.
This is a well designed tripod, especially with the transverse post, but unfortunately, the manufacturing is not up to standards. The foam on the handles immediately started tearing and splitting. I've repaired it with tape. The hex nuts that tighten the leg levers are in constant need of adjustment, as they tend to loosen up. The center post became detached from the tripod head mount, and when I contacted the manufacturer, they wanted me to send it to them for repair, which would not be practical, so I repaired it myself with epoxy. I was told that it's a common issue with that unit.
