Fits perfect on an A7RV. The battery auto switch feature works. Only complaint would be that the AF-ON/AEL/C1/C2 buttons feel "cheap" but honestly doesn't bother me at all as long as everything works. Doesn't have that "gap" that everyone talks about with battery grips and the A7RV (or at least I don't see the gap).

I bought it to use on the 7R5 I didn't know if it would fit perfectly but it did 99%, it's an excellent purchase for something that won't influence the images but only the grip

Absolutely incredible product! Not only does it looks aesthetically pleasing on the camera but logistically and technically it works very well. The feel and texture is great and it offers the next level of grip which is great for any photography project. The lock is simply and secure, I've never had any problems.

at $60 dollars I think this thing is great. I wasn't sure if I even wanted an grip extender so to purchase the name brand one at a premium price was not an option. I guess the only thing I worry about is the weatherproofing so I will not be taking it out into the rain. I think that the Sony version would be more durable, but that comes with a weight tradeoff so it's a give and take. The fit and ergonomics seem correct and all the buttons take on the programed function of their counterparts on the camera. I am the type of buyer who likes to purchase the top of the line that is reasonable, but I don't feel I am missing much going cheap on this. When you have a flash controller and a 70-200 (even the gm ii) the weight begins to add up, so cutting a few grams on a long shoot will be appreciated. unless it breaks I don't plan on upgrading to the sony.

Great accessory at a fraction of the price of the Sony replacement. But it is plastic so not as durable

Works just like the Sony battery grip for my camera, but no nearly as robust. But since it seems to have the same ergonomics and fits my A7Riv tightly, I will keep using it until I buy the real thing (with it?s magnesium construction and better weather sealing) later this year. But, at the price (less than the cost of two Sony NP-FZ100 batteries), this was an irresistible purchase to get the extra batteries on to my new camera for an extended off-road trip into the wilds around Moab. Although this grip is only made of some sort of high density plastic, it seems robust enough to survive and provide good service for a year or two, if I take care of it on my photo expeditions.

Short term use review: I'd probably give this sucker a 3.5/5 so far. It gets the job done, fits the a7siii (it's actually a touch thinner than the camera body, but not enough to be bothersome. The buttons are hella clicky (read "loud"), but again, this isn't actually much of an issue; if you're a portrait shooter, this might be a bigger deal. The quality feels adequate, and while it doesn't match the quality of the camera, I trust this grip enough to hold my $3.5k by itself (ie. holding by the grip alone). I like battery grips for the added battery life and more to hold onto when shooting (and carrying the camera; when I hold the camera with my left hand WITH a battery grip, I am able to hold the accessory grip which is much more comfortable than holding by the lens).

My Green Extreme Grip is awesome! It works perfectly, has a nice feel to it and is nearly and $350 less than the SONY Version!
