Shopper : Will these batteries be comparable with the Nikon p1000 camera an charger ?The volts and amps do not match the Nikon EN-EL20a.EDUARDO Z : They might be, I’m not familiar with that Nikon camera model, it just will last less time. I used mine in a Nikon 1 V3 who comes with the 20a model and it worked perfectly.

Don?t expect long life from these batteries.

These batteries are rated for 1020 mAh. My tester accurately rates them at less than 700 mAh. Having said that, they are no worse that other off-brand batteries made in China, and cheaper than most; they are acceptable.

Nikon P950 camera

It seems to be a great camera - have only used it once, so still learning. However, it's much heavier and larger than I'd hoped. I had the P520 which was perfect for a hiking camera. This one is about twice the size and heavier....hard to put in a backpack in case of rain.

Short Battery Life

While claiming the same mAh, this battery only lasts about 1/3 the time as the name brand one that came with my camera. It's useful as an emergency spare, especially for the price, but I wouldn't rely on it.

Loving it so far

Really like the combination of powerful zoom and manageable size. The viewfinder clarity and brightness far superior to viewfinder on my B700. Only a few days of use so far but very please with image quality.

Could Be Greener

I decent product at a good price. Well worth the cost as a backup battery for travel. I had another brand break on vacation last year, so had to replace it, so I again have four for two cameras. As for "green," well, once the green package is shoved into a HUGE cardboard box, it turns way less green. Geez, a padded paper envelope would be much better.
