Shopper : My concern is how the difference in sound is between the (2) 2x10 stack vs the single 4x10 ?
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?Simon R : I really like the "punch" that Harkte cabs give. The reproduction of transients which I attribute to the aluminium cones is what makes Harkte cabinets different. They are also really light which makes travelling to gigs so much easier that it used to be. Considi am using this Hartke 210XL V2 2x10" Aluminum Drive Bass Cabinet for a sculpture. i chose it because as a bass cabinet it does not have any power cables, and i want to have the sculpture be free standing, so that makes sense. it also has a nice height (when turned sideways), perfect to place a lion on top of it and have the lion be staring right into the belly of the viewer. i also like the aluminum cone detail as it resembles a pair of eyes. i prefer the V2 of this model because it does not have the yellow lettering. it is all black and white, which goes well with the colorless ambiance of the show i am working on. another reason for choosing the V2 version is because it does not have that nasty carpet covering, but it has a rugged rubber exterior instead. very nice!er whether you would recommend this product and what you like or dislike about it.
