In Hoodman We Trust

There is only one brand I trust for recording location audio and for shooting video footage: Hoodman. Zero failures in over six years. Not one single issue. I just purchased two new 16 GB CF cards to put into rotation. In 2017 I'll purchase two additional 128 GB CF cards. Made in the USA. Highly recommended.

The Hoodman RAW Steel Class-7 64 GB CompactFlash Card features SSD flash inside. SSD (Solid State Drive) Flash is designed to replace hard drives in computers, it is the most stable, reliable flash you can put in A CompactFlash Memory Card. SSD lasts through 500,000 (half a million) cycles of life. One cycle of life equals filling the memory card and then reformatting the card. Using this state-of-the-art technology keeps RAW CF cards shooting 490,000 times beyond the point where its competitors fail.

The Hoodman RAW Compact Flash Card is a UDMA Mode 7 device, which maximizes the performance of cameras using the UDMA protocol. UDMA cards will work with both non-UDMA and UDMA-enabled devices. UDMA will also dramatically increase the card-to-computer transfer rates when paired with a UDMA-enabled reader.
