Amazing Value
I tried a cheap ND filter before I tried this one. The difference is incredible. There is no noticable color cast and everything looks sharp. I’m using this with a Blackmagic Pocket 4K and L series glass.
Great Quality and Affordable
I own two of these filters, they work great even on long zooms (70-200 on a super 35 sensor). Variable ND filters will blur your image on longer focal lengths, these have exceptional image quality. I was checking for another filter and noticed a negative review and wanted to set the record straight that these are quality filters. The NIR-ND0.9 filters from NiSi are round filters made of nano-coated glass with an aluminum frame. The aluminum frame is ultra-thin with matched filter threads on both faces for easy mounting and filter stacking, while the nano coating on the glass gives it a tint with no color cast and makes it waterproof, oil-resistant and scratch-resistant.
