We bought this printer for our small office (4 employees). It worked well for 3 years but 1 month after the warranty ended we started having problems with rollers making very loud noises. We cleaned the rollers and put everything back together with the same problem. The replacment parts are abour $350 so we opted to buy a new - and different brand - printer

This Canon image class D1650 all in one printer is the perfect printer for my small business. I make a lot of copies and this printer can turn our pages at lightening speed 45 pages per minute. It has wireless printing which is really convenient. The only short side is it doesn't print color.

This is one of the better printers of my collection. Out the box it was very easy to set up! The front touch screen makes it really easy to connect to your network. The build quality of this printer is solid, and it's more compact than other all-in-one printers that I have used. Print time from your computer is fast, almost instantly. You can also add on additional paper trays if needed. Touch screen allows for customization and it is very easy to navigate. Software works well with the printer. This printer is the fastest one I have ever owned, it's very nice being able to print several pages in just seconds. Keep in mind this printer is monochrome, meaning it only prints in black and white. Over all I'm happy with it, the only slight downside is it's quite large, and very heavy, so it does take up some room.

The lens quality of Canon with the efficiency of a multi-task printer. Amazing. Really happy with the quality of the laser printing but even happier with the scanning quality. So clear and perfect scanning. Never saw such good quality in a scanner. And the printing is high precision as well. Recommended without any doubts.

The packaging is well thought out and makes it easy to unpack without a lot of lifting. It does have a lot of easy to pull tape holding the device together, though. I powered it on and setup was very easy because it can connect to my wifi network through the touchscreen display on the printer. I like how easy it was to set up. After that, I could see the Canon D1650 as a printer and scanner on my network. Scanning can be done from the device or started from a computer, and the scanned file can be an image or PDF, and placed on the computer, a USB drive connected to the device, or emailed. Printing from a USB drive is also possible. I love how versatile this printer, scanner, and copier is. It also has duplex printing, letting you print on both sides of the paper without having to manually flip it over. The scanner has a clear image with pretty good colors. It even has passport and ID scanning modes. I like that the printer and display goes to sleep after 1 minute, keeping the room quiet and saving energy. The back has USB, Ethernet, and phone line ports for the various printing, scanning and fax capabilities. I'm pretty amazed at all the functions and features of the machine. It can do all the printing, scanning, copying, and faxing that I need. In addition, the printer itself looks pretty good. It has a modern look to it, being white and black with flat sides with small curved edges. The toner and drum are preinstalled and I didn't need to do anything to get it printing out of the box, which is great. I think the Canon D1650 is very versatile with crisp clear printing and scanning. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a machine that can do printing, scanning, copying, and faxing all in one like this.

Both my Wife and I work from home now and print between 75-150 or more pages per week of proposals, project plans, invoices and much more. The Cannon imageclass D1650 has become a huge advantage from our inkjets we use to use. The most impressive part of the D1650 is that by the time I get up from my chair, its done printing. The delay from pushing the print button to completed printing is amazing. This allows both of us to share it wirelessly and virtually never worrying about queueing up jobs. The coping is flawless, and I can't tell the originals from the copies except if the original has some color in it. The scanner has incredible resolution and allows us to save high quality files of written notes, drawings, and physical client correspondence. Some of the outstanding features include the paper stray holding a full ream of paper, being able to print from my cellphone, the large and easy to navigate control touchscreen, two-sided printing and booklet printing, scaling of copies, the custom paper tray, and sleep mode which wakes up in in latterly a second. The capability of this printer is immense, and I keep finding features like a total cumulative copy counter, ID settings, cartridge status and many others that I continue to discover as I use it more. The D1650 is definitely the work horse of our home office, it allows us to have one printer for both our professional and personal needs for the whole house.

I've tried various monochrome laser printers over the years from various brands. Usually, faster printing means lower quality due to cost-cutting on toner. For routine business printing, other brands suffice. However, this time I wanted better quality, so I got the Canon D1650. It's a bit pricier per page, but the built-in drum and toner combo consistently give me sharper prints. The printer is solidly built, compact, and lightning-fast from all my devices. The touchscreen is easy to customize and use. Setting up on my network was fairly smooth, though not as effortless as other brands. The legal-sized document glass is handy. Because I value print quality, I'll likely stick with Canon for that near-typeset feel next time.

The Canon imageCLASS D1650 is literally the best laser printer I have used to date, and for me, that's saying a lot! I have been in the tech sector for right at a quarter century now and have used many laser printers from several manufacturers and the D1650 is super fast and has all the features I'd expect in an "All-in-one"! To start the printer the printer was easy to setup as a wireless network printer on my network and then to add to all of my Windows 11 and android devices. The print jobs run with little to no lag, no matter the size or document type. Pages print fast and duplexing works flawlessly regardless of mode. The drawer has a huge paper capacity that can also be expanded as needs arise. The one pass scan where it scans BOTH sides of a document is just awesome! The first time I used it I was in essence wonder where has this been all my life! The huge touch screen means no more squinting to see what you are doing at the printer unlike other all-in-one's where the screen just gets smaller and smaller each iteration! To me the D1650 is an awesome printer and as I said, in 25 years of tech service this to me is THE BEST laser printer I have ever used! I do not say that lightly!

This printer produces excellent quality printing and it is very easy to use. The scanner with document feeder works well and is extremely useful. The wifi functionality adds convenience to print from multiple devices (including mobile). It is also really sturdy and seems very well made.

This is a great printer option for a family that prints a lot or a small business with its networking capability. I haven't used the faxing but the rest of the AIO features were used and it worked very well. It holds a ton of paper and the duplexing was seamless. It was fast and the wireless setup was easy and the touch screen option helps. My pc had no issues connecting quickly and even at smaller font sizes it is crisp. It is a great replacement for my mono laser and older stand alone scanner. I think if you print a ton then it could be pricey compared to other models but all in all for a small business it would be great. Also finding the toner is very easy which is also a huge factor for me. It is a larger printer so we have it on a stand alone cart versus a desk but that was to be expected for the type of printer it is.

This Canon copy fax and printer is really nice for in office. It gets the job done and with quickness and ease. The unit itself is quite heavy but that just shows that it's durable. It's easy to assemble and easy to use with its quick interface. It also has a large compartment for paper. I would highly recommend this product.

This machine is amazing with all the capabilities it has! I have printed and scanned so far and it has worked perfectly each time. So around my house we print everything. I print work packets, wife prints exercise pamphlets for her patients and we both print oodles or pictures of our kids or pictures they've done on the computer. So needless to say we print a lot! Previously we were using a eco-tank inkjet printer. Which was great at first and the ink was super cheap. However those are not made for the long haul and the heads deteriorate and break down. Not to mention the sometimes 10 minutes it takes for it to be ready to print. All of this though is cured with a color laser printer. Prints are nearly instant, clear, don't smudge and toner last forever and is super cheap. There is also no ink heads to dry up, get dirty, break or leak. It just works and works great! Let me roll into pros/cons Pros: -Prints quickly. Any amount as well/ -Toner last thousands of pages -Genuine toner is actually pretty cheap -Quality is amazing -Can print large files easily -Holds a lot of paper! -Great scanner -Works as a copier Cons: -None Yet! The adage you get what you pay for here is doubly true. You just can't beat the reliability, speed and quality of a color laser printer. Pictures are just as sharp as our old slow ecotank. I will say this printer is much larger than our old ecotank and significantly heavier, but its footprint is exactly the same. Its just 3x as tall. So far we've printed around 3k pages and were still on the included toner and haven't had a jam yet. We've also scanned a myriad of kids drawings which are crumpled and mated and its scanned them flawlessly. I really cant say anything negative about this printer at all. Its seriously just that good!

I love this printer for our office. We need a more professional / premium printer and did the research, this is the one. It can print/scan, has wireless connectivity, and easily connects with my phone. Having a printer/scanner that is high quality for business docs is a game changer. Since its wireless, no wires makes it easy on the eye and very versatile in terms of where you put it. Highly recommend.

This printer satisfies my expectations except for the scan to file feature from the printer's control panel which despite all efforts appears not to be supported via smb for MacOS. Hope a firmware update addresses this issue.

It really is pretty easy to use if you've used office equipment before. Not sure of a function or using a different size paper or making a scan sharper or improving fax clarity, the 5 inch display makes it pretty easy to adjust.
