This USB thumb drive is much faster than others I have, often exceeding 30MB/s. I used one to store about a thousand CD images that I plug into the USB interface on my car for on-the-road music. The compact size is a plus - it fits in the console in my car without interfering with the lid.

The flash drive worked well for approximately one-year and then failed - isn't recognized or read/writeable. As some have noted, the drive becomes hot while plugged in; which I suspect contributed to it failing so soon. I have submitted a claim to SanDisk for a replacement under its warranty but haven't heard back from them so far.

It's a nice flash drive. Fast transfer rates. I noticed drive's temperature get rather high to the touch if large sized files are getting transferred. In order to keep the drive at a resonable temperature & to extend it's usage life, wrap some metal, e.g. aluminum foil, around the drives shielding. Size wise the drive is smaller than a thumb so it can get lost/misplaced easily if one is not paying attention.

This flash drive is very small in physical size but has an enormous memory. The loop at the end can be used to attach to a cord so you won't lose the flash drive. Be careful it is small enough to lose.

Works great, BUT, the largest single file is limited to under 4GB. This limitation made moot my original intentions for using it. So I made changes on how I would store large files 4GB and larger. I purchased a 7TB external disk drive. I have many files/folders under 4GB so it is extremely useful for quick access when I require information stored on them.

This is an amazing drive by Sandisk for the price.. Very good speed for average user. Small but built pretty tough. If looking for a super fast speed, you should go for Solid State USB flash drive, but this should be adequate for most people looking for a decently priced good overall USB 3 drive.

It is so small in size...I am very afraid of loosing it. I have put mine on a tie and hopefully remember where I put it. I would not want to ever put it in my pocket....so thin it could get thrown out with a tissue or something...but I do like the speed of transfer.

I ordered this flash drive to transfer on it all the files and documents that were cluttering my Mac desktop. The goal was to de-clog my desktop yet have my files easily accessible on an external, cordless storage device by leaving it permanently plugged in one of my 2.0 USB ports. Of course, all these files are also backed up on a much larger external HD, for peace of mind. The drive is very affordable and plenty fast for the casual usage I subject it to. It has a classy-looking metal finish and is amazingly compact, about half the size of the Lexar flash drive of the same capacity that I already own (an excellent product itself), to the point that I doubted its ability to hold that much memory in such a compact package. I guess time will tell just how reliable it is but so far it works great.

I have tried other drives that were a lot slower. My computer has usb 2.0, and the speed for different video files is 14-27mg/sec. Several other brands run 7-14mg/sec.
