I bought this printer and the first one didn't print at all and was returned. The second one they sent had issues too. The third printer has worked for 2 years and one of the colors has stopped printing. They only offer a 940 dollar flat fee repair which is more than the printer costs. I am SO disappointed in the quality of this product. I regret this purchase greatly because of the lack of customer support.

So little ink offers at purchase, it was an insult. The printer prints quickly but it takes so long to start up, and every little button you must push, and there are many, takes more wait time. It can take 10 minutes or more to get to the actual printing. The next issue I have is how poorly, how tricky and tedious it is to load manual paper in the front feeder. I do a lot of fine art prints on heavy papers 350 gm or better. The manual feed process is a centre load, rather to the right edge, which my old R3000 required. It is easy, way to easy to not get the load quite right, and I am a very experienced printer. It is tedious and frequently fails, so you take even more time loading and reloading. Once you get to the actual print the quality is really impressive, beautiful prints. However, this machine really sucks down the ink. I am alarmed at how quickly the tiny tanks deplete. I live and work very remotely, so getting these very expensive inks in a timely way is very hard for me. I cannot understand at all why you made such tiny, expensive ink tanks for this fine printer. It is an insult to reason. I been using Epson printers for my work since around 1983. This is the first time I feel you guys have insulated me as a user.

When I'm able to get a print through, I'm happy very with the resulting image. But this printer's performance is really inconsistent. The back paper feeder is unreliable and I often need to feed sheets of paper through one by one. As I write this, it's taken me half an hour to print two 5x7 party invitations because it's taking me half a dozen tries for a single sheet to actually catch. And when it does, sometimes it sends the paper right out, sometimes it actually prints. It often get load paper errors when there is paper loaded. There are times when it works as advertised but overall I find this printer very frustrating.

This is the worst Epson photo printer I have ever owned! I've bought Epson printers for over 20 yrs and have always been satisfied until this one. It is extremely finicky and unreliable at sending the card stock through for printing.

I absolutely love this printer. Epson does it again. Feels great to buy a product you don't have to call customer service for help with, don't it? There was no issues with set up. Everything connected both wired and wireless. I am printing from iPads, iPhones, laptops, and desktop with no connectivity issues at all. Software for the printer was easy to set up. It does want to add a bunch of things that I didn't need like print layout or email prints, that I have not used so I can't say much on that. With the computers I design on I did some calibrating to get the prints to my specification, which was impressive how little time and material was wasted in getting that done. The overall prints are coming out so crisp! Printing on photo paper, luster, heavy card stock and vinyl. Colors are bright and the blacks are deep. I am really liking the b&w prints on the heavy presentation card stock. Photos from a Yosemite vacation are beaitbufu! I have been using epson printers for the good part of 10 yrs and I can say the only reason I ever gave one away was because I was upgrading. In comparison to a canon pixma 100 that I had used in between getting this printer and my last one I am so thankful for the little pop up touch screen with its clear messages and problem identification. Maybe this review is bias because of my experience with wide format printers which is why I must add that my wife and kids who were oblivious when it came to using any printer prior, have been able to print images all on their own, change ink carts, set the paper size, etc. Very user friendly printer. I wish I had waited for the mail in rebate is my only real complaint

I have had the printer now for a couple of weeks. I love it! The color is perfection. What I see on my screen is being reproduced by the printer. I have been putting it through a few tests: various paper sizes, various papers, settings etc..here it comes the one complaint I have with the machine, it gets all temperamental when I try to print with a user defined paper size. First it goes to roll paper as there is not a way to define the source in user defined paper size. Second it messes with the image size perceiving the image as larger than it is. I am able to get it to print 6 x 6 with much finessing, I wish that were not the case. I am a digital artist and odd paper sizes are things that I need to print. I am keeping the printer as I'll put up with the headache when it delivers such gorgeous prints.

I had an Epson Stylus Pro for more than 15 years and though it printed beautiful colour when I could get all the settings right, it finally woiuld not accept the paper and purchased the new P700 printer. There was no problem setting it up - both printed an online instructions are clear. The first print was beautiful, and quite close to the image in the screen. The secret is to use the Epson print app, so easy yet flexible. Downloadable free.

I followed the where to buy link from the Epson web site to Amazon. I place my order for the P700. During setup I found out that the units sold by Amazon are grey market. Illegal for use in the United States. They come with no warranty or $200 rebate. Now I am trying to get my money back from Amazon. There is no mention on the Amazon site that the printer is not for sale in the US or Canada.

This printer works great. It was easy to set up (only required 2 clarifying calls to Epson, a record for me), and printed as expected from the get-go. I didn't waste even one sheet of paper trying it out or experimenting, and I didn't have to trick it into performing like I needed it to, like I have with other printers. Lots of settings are built in, so that printing from Photoshop I only had to set the Photoshop settings and tell the printer what paper I was using and that was it (don't forget to download the printer profiles for your paper). I'd give it a 10 if Epson wasn't so greedy with their ink prices (that's not Adorama's fault, Epson requires them to sell at a set price).

I bought this printer less than a year ago and used it to print about 50 holiday greeting cards on 305gsm, matte paper. It worked very nicely, feeding the paper flawlessly. I don't use this printer frequently, so I print a Print Head Nozzle Check once a week to keep the ink nozzles clear. When I tried to print more of the greeting cards again recently (same paper) I found that the paper pickup would not feed the paper. The pickup roller just spins on the paper, leaving a dark skid mark. I don't understand why the same paper now won't feed. Perhaps the pickup roller has dried out after less than a year? In any case, when I read the Epson warranty, it specifically excludes pickup rollers from coverage. So, I now have a very expensive, useless, brick with some very expensive, useless, spare ink cartridges (did I mention it goes through ink pretty fast?). Ugh. Be very careful if considering this printer.

I'm an artist running a print shop & I probably do 10-15 prints a day on average. I've been using this model since 2020? I believe and I'm on my 6th one. Some have been replaced under warranty, but today my replacement failed. The nearest repair center is 200 miles away, and between the shipping costs and track record of the printer, it's not worth fixing. I keep a back up of the same model on hand at all times because I know they're going to fail. Print head issues, feed problems, uneven margins, etc. It's hard to switch models or makers when I have thousands in Epson paper and ink stock on hand at any given time. I basically have to budget 2 printers a year. Very disappointing after my Stylus 1800 lasted over 5 years.

I only received the printer a week ago and gave it a bit of a run, and it looks and performs great. It replaces a R3000 and this one appears to be more intuitive to use and more flexible in term of papers and inks. Not cheap, but it performs, for now, very well.

very easy setup. was printing in 30 mins and most of that time was letting the printer do it's initializing and priming. Love Epson colors! And I got a $200 rebate from Epson.

I had to replace my P400 and the P700 was suggested. I prints beautifully and is very quiet. My biggest complaint is the cost of the ink...wow. Not sure if I will be able to afford it.

I had this printer in my cart ready to go before I found out the initial cartridges are basically empty after the printer initialiizes and I'd need to immediately buy $400 of inks. That makes this a $1,200 printer. No, thank you. Epson, that's going a bit too cheap for most of us.

I have now had this printer for a year. I love it. I had an R2880 before and it was capable of good quality prints, but it was difficult to make that happen. I no longer have to switch black ink cartridges between glossy and matt finishes. The 2 new software additions are game changers for ease of printing something exhibition quality. First the Media installer allows for having paper types and ICC profiles loaded and ready to go. Then the Epson Print Layout program is wonderful. My workflow has become to export to a particular folder from Lightroom. Then drag the image into the Layout program and starting at the top go down the page making the proper selections and hitting print at the bottom. A perfect print every time! I never had this much success before. The parameters were spread all over the place between Lightroom or photoshop and the printer driver and its pages. Forgetting to change a setting was too common and wasteful of ink. Also, this printer doesn't seem to clog, or, maybe I am just using it more? Very Happy!

I absolutely LOVE this printer!!! I got it to make giclée fine art prints and for printing photos. It has AMAZING quality and I have been happy with how long the ink lasts so far. It does run through light grey fairly quickly, but I'm ok with that since it seems to save on the other inks.

First off I also own a Epson HD XP-15000 that I love and get professional results from that printer. I figured with the P700, and for the money, I'd get at least noticeable better prints with this printer, that's simply not the case with this printer, even though this printer uses 10 cartridges rather then 6 like on my HD -XP15000. My I'm doing something wrong,I use the highest settings, and still get sub bar prints. Also, for some reason I can't print 4x6, 5x7 or 8x10 boarderless prints with the P700 when I try to use the "maximum quality" setting, don't understand why, perhaps with that setting I would get better results. Unless there's a update coming to fix that. Still , I fell like I wasted my money with this printer?sorry Epson..

This printer is fan freaking tastic! Set up is easy. It lets you watch the printing before it comes out of the machine. The match from procreate to paper is amazing. It just does everything perfectly. My only regret is that I didn?t buy it sooner. I literally swoon over this printer.
