The X-E5 gives you full access to Fujifilm’s extensive X Mount ecosystem, featuring over 40 high-quality lenses. From ultra-wide angles to telephoto zooms, this flexibility lets you tailor the camera to suit every scene, mood, and moment.
Refined rangefinder-style design
Classic doesn’t mean outdated. The X-E5’s offset electronic viewfinder and machined aluminum top-plate deliver a design language that nods to vintage rangefinder cameras, while embracing modern sensibilities.

With tactile analog dials and a form factor that slips easily into a jacket pocket or small bag, this camera invites a slower and more intentional style of shooting that reconnects you with the joy of photography.
Custom film simulation
Fujifilm has long been known for its rich Film Simulations — digital renderings of the company’s most beloved film stocks. But the X-E5 takes it further with an all-new customizable Film Simulation dial, a first for the X Series.The top-plate dial includes a clear display window and three user-programmable slots so you can store and access your own custom looks on the fly.
Up to 7 stops of IBIS
Low-light scenes, long exposures, or on-the-move street shots? You’re covered. This new Fujifilm mirrorless camera features in-body image stabilization (IBIS) that delivers up to seven stops of shake reduction at the center of the frame and six stops toward the edges.
The system includes an upgraded gyro sensor and refined stabilization algorithm, giving you rock-solid results even when conditions are less than ideal.
Built-in digital teleconverter (1.4x / 2x zoom)
The X-E5 includes a two-step digital teleconverter function, which allows you to punch in at 1.4x or 2x while maintaining excellent image quality. It’s perfect for quick framing adjustments or moments when changing lenses just isn’t practical.
AI-powered subject detection autofocus
Never miss the moment. The X-E5 uses deep learning-based AI autofocus to intelligently detect and track a wide range of subjects — including people, animals, vehicles, and more. It continuously identifies faces and eyes, locks on quickly, and stays focused even when your subject moves unpredictably.
Electronic viewfinder with surround view
The X-E5’s high-resolution EVF does more than just show you your frame, it offers an immersive and highly customizable viewing experience. Choose from three Surround View options (black, semi-transparent, or outline) to better visualize what’s just outside the frame, helping you anticipate motion and compose more intuitively. Prefer a more minimalist, analog-style view? Switch to Simple View, which mimics the look of an old-school optical viewfinder.
Cutting edge image quality with 40.2MP sensor
Inside the X-E5 is the heart of a powerhouse: Fujifilm’s latest 40.2-megapixel X-Trans 5 HR sensor, paired with the high-performance X-Processor 5. This combination gives you exceptional detail, low-noise performance, and impressive dynamic range — ideal for everything from professional-grade prints to tight crops in post-production.
It also enables a lower base ISO of 125, offering cleaner images straight out of camera in bright environments.
Fully Featured Viewfinder
Thanks to its detailed electronic viewfinder, FUJIFILM X-E5 lets you see every detail when viewing images. As well as providing an accurate preview of the scene, it also provides some additional functions that deliver an experience similar to an optical viewfinder. These include three Surround View modes which allow the selection of a black, semi-transparent or line outline showing the image's aspect ratio and what is outside of it to better anticipate subjects moving into frame, plus a Simple View option, which emulates the viewfinder from an analog film SLR.
