Photographer Omar Gonzalez does an amazing job of breaking down all the great features of the Fujifilm X-E5 in the video below. However, if you are like me, images in a video go by too fast to really enjoy the artistry of the creator. With this in mind, I have created a small photo gallery here on 42 West to showcase Omar’s work.

Cityscapes with the FUJIFILM X-E5
Omar brilliantly captures cityscapes with the FUJIFILM X-E5. Bold colors and film simulations, along with strong compositions and some beautiful skies, make these images pop. Not to mention some awesome black and white shots like this first one.
Street Photography
With its compact size and fitted with the FUJINON XF23mmF2.8 R WR lens, the X-E5 excels at street photography. Omar demonstrates this here with some exceptional captures. Whether we are traveling or just exploring our own hometown, having a small camera that can capture the life of the streets is just about every photographer’s dream.
As Omar shows us in his work above, a skilled photographer with the right tools can capture amazing stories. For me, anyway, that has always been the goal of my work. To tell my stories, to tell the story of my city, to tell the stories of those around me. Sometimes we can do that in the written word like this blog, but visual artists like Omar prove the old adage: A picture is worth 1000 words.
