This computer looks really cool! It also stays cool, ie the fan is a good design, better that most other laptops i have owned/used. My biggest gripe is the touch pad it has a swipe feature to allow you to thumb through your apps. this is annoying if you use your touch pad allot, also the app feature is redundant. Windows 8 is incredibly over done and hard to manipulate. I have had this computer for three months and i hate it! the internet is much slower, the computer crashes or freezes constantly.

I've had the Sleekbook for around 8 weeks. The first unit had a hard drive crash within a few days. HP replaced the laptop but the second units hard drive also crashed within a few days. Sent that one in for repair and the new hard drive crashed within 24 hrs. HP replaced that laptop with another Sleekbook and that hard drive crashed within 12 hrs. So, that's 3 different Sleekbooks and 4 hard drives.

This is such a wonderful laptop! Wow! Okay, I do see why other reviews have said that they don't like Windows 8, but personally - I think Windows 8 is awesome! Also, I've had it for a few months now, and it's still working as great as when I got it. And, we just recently went to the USA and I took my laptop with me, and even used it in the airport to Skype my dad. It keeps going for ages on battery, and the performance is still stunning. Plus, it's really light - so perfect for travelling! The only thing is that I've been having some problems with trying to set up the printer with it ... But I think that may just be me! Oh, and I'm a art student, and the screen is so nice to look at while doing assignments :3

Love this laptop- size is perfect for travel and keyboard is easy to use. Windows 8 is a slight challenge, but after a few days I really enjoy using it. No problems that I have found so far.

Went into the store just looking at physical sizes to decide what we wanted to consider. Realized that this unit's specifications were far above what we had been considering for only a little more money. Purchased his and hers. Be aware that Windows 8 is a very different interface from previous versions and will take time to learn. Don't let that scare you though. It is a great laptop.

This is a really nice computer, light, relatively fast, with a good sized hard drive. I bought it for my granddaughter and at first she loved it. Then because of Windows 8, she began to actively dislike it, solely because of the operating system. Her biggest complaint was that when she was playing a game the main tiles screen would suddenly appear and she'd have to fiddle around to get back to her game. Then I discovered that I hadn't read the specs carefully enough and there is no optical drive. I don't think we're quite at the age yet when an optical drive is unnecessary. I could have bought an external optical drive and offered to do so, but the Win8 OS was the killer. I'm returning this computer and have already ordered a different model with Windows 7 Home Premium. When I told my granddaughter, she cheered. Enough said about Windows 8.
